My original comparison between the two is that they are walk forward bangers and that is as true as the sun rising in the EAST. That's as far as it went and is what it is.

Both Castillo and Margarito prefer to walk forward and BANG AWAY. Yes, castillo has used the jab a little more than Marg, but NEITHER is a technician by any means. Both rely on heart, toughness, and power to overcome and pressure their foes.

Are they the exact same fighter?? No, and I never said they were, i said they were both walk forward bangers and one particular shitty idiot tried to make more of it than it is.

Of course Margarito would still get in Floyds ass, listen like it or not it took a 6'2 south paw to beat Margarito and he didnt hurt Tony in that fight Paul is a much busier fighter than is Floyd and for being so busy he didnt land as many shots as you would expect of someone throwing 1200 punches in the fight.
and Williams won clear but he didnt dominate, 115-113 is a close fight, a round the other way and you have a draw. Styles make fights, Williams had a good enough formula to ekk out a UD over Margarito, but that style is completley different than Floyds, FLoyd doesnt throw in high volumes he looks to pot shot and counter he looks for the ropes, he likes to move away from you.
IMHO, Margarito vs Mayweather right now, would still be a very dangerous fight for Floyd, I dont see him winning it I am sorry I just dont, if it took a bigger busier man to get the job done, then Floyd has no chance he is the smaller man who is not always busy in that ring.
Margarito is much busier than Floyd and even while his opponent is throwing twice as many shots at him Margarito has still been able to come back through all of that and make it a close fight.
like it or not, Floyd might want to reconsider retirement after his fight with Hatton, I would be willing to bet that he stays away from everybody except mosley next, seriously Williams will get to him, Margarito will get to him, Cintron will get to him, Cotto will murder him.
There is no where to turn after his fight with Hatton so look to see him retire again or fight Mosley he will stay away from the other five bank on that.

Margarito was never a tough match up for Floyd. Floyd's way faster and way more skilled. There's no way Antonio and his slow, wide, looping punches can beat Floyd's fast, accurate, counter-punching.

I agree it wouldnt be easy, but i'd have to favor Floyd because Tony can be out boxed. It doesnt please me to say that, by any means. That is certainly NOT A GIVEN, but it's almost impossible to walk forward without a jab and have any chance of winning a decision vs PBF. Marg would have to KO Floyd and floyd will definitely NOT STAND INSIDE and present opportunity.

Marg will have to beat one of the top guy's to have any possibility of still facing Floyd. PBF didnt want it when Marga had a belt and significance, he damn sure wont want it without. Further?? Let's see floyd try Williams:lol:

Floyd will do his best to avoid Cotto and Williams at 47.

I don't even know where to begin. You underestimate PBF so much that it's ridicolous. Saying all of these fighters would beat PBF is insane especially when he'd be favored over all of them.:deal You want PBF to lose so bad that you'll continue to believe the delusional **** that comes out of your mouth. I tried to school you on PBF-Oscar but you kept telling me that Oscar was going to knock PBF the **** out wrong. I tried telling you that Margo was the fraud of the century but you said he was the man to beat at 147, wrong again. One day soon you'll learn.

The same can be said vice versa. Speculation on both sides.

But PBF certainly has proven more in the ring than Margarito has, and Margarito certainly gives the impression he can be outboxed.

I think Margo should go right after Cintron to show what he's got. Cintron is looking like a beast right now and talked alot about how that wasn't really him in the Margo fight.

its True Floyds track record provides a glimps of proof that he is a notch above the rest, but lets not forget that he has yet to face one of these younger guys, the story might change when that happens I fully expect it to.
De La Hoya did good for his age against the younger fresher Floyd Mayweather Jr and with all of his talent he was limited to winning that fight by a one point SD.
knowing this, I have to say that the younger guys at Welter weight stand a very good chance of beating Floyd, if the older version of DLH can make a fight that close I would have to say that any of the top five welters today can give Floyd more of a fight than he wants, why do you think he is taking Hatton as his next opponent? it makes dollars and sense, why? because Hatton brings in the money 11 thousand british fans came down to see him fight Castillo imagine how many will show up when he fights Floyd? and not only that, But Hatton is limited as all hell, Collazo proved that Hatton will be easy, very easy work for Mayweather.

All of what you said is still speculation though. And DLH fighting closely with PBF (and many felt it was not nearly as close as the judges thought obviously) is no indication of anything. DLH fought him at 154....where DLH has been for yrs and PBF has never fought.
