I recently posted a thread on Vuyani Bungu and the responses got me thinking about history's less heralded junior bantamweights.

How do you guys see a fight between Vasquez and McKinney shaking out? Both had outstanding talent, and were the type you could see beating atgs on their best night, but both also had substantial liabilities: Vasquez (cut easily, had offnights where he looked mortal, like against Armando Guerrero and Marcos Licona), and McKinney (personal problems that led to spotty performances, not the greatest conditioning, defense).

Vasquez was probably more well rounded but McKinney had that preposterous punching power for a junior bantam. Both had death defying courage (RIP Vasquez's right eye #warrior).

Great fight .. I'm taking Vazquez here. Kennedy did have that power but Vazquez was the better boxer and had great success against Marquez .... But I didn't see most of Kennedy's fights TBH .. so I would defer to you and others

Kennedy had a lot of power in his right hand. At his best he takes it on my opinion.
Gave Barrera a run for his money.
