at 122 id pick izzy,at 126 tho ill say pac ud or late stoppage,im kinda biased towards izzy hes a fave of mine but im a big pac fan too.classic matchup

 

It would have been dynamite.

They sparred together before, in preparation for Pac-MAB I and Pac-JMM I.

Manny was even at ringside when Izzy fought and won the 122 belt (IBF?) that Pac dropped to fight MAB at featherweight.

And Manny went up the ring to award him the belt and lifted Vasquez's hand up in victory.

I cant say who'll definitely win, I'm just sure it would be an exciting fight.

 

pac didnt manage to ko oscar larios when he moved up to 130 from 122,ill take pac by ud.

 

I saw the Pac-Larios fight, and Manny was in full "slick boxer" mode that night. He was doing his best impersonation of a boxer that fight. He kept all his slugging instincts in the back of his mind.

It was a tune up for Pac-Morales III, and that fight vs Larios was more of a highly paid, live sparring match, and ironing out kinks in his game, and practicing the gameplan against a taller, lankier opponent, ala Morales.

 

I dont think Izzy beats him at any weight, just not in the same class.
People tend to get all overexcited about a fighter when they witness him in a classic. Look at Gatti, that guy had no place in the ring the likes of Mayweather and De la Hoya but people thought he did simply because he was fun to watch and had endeared himself to the public.

Only a few years ago Izzy was just a titlist who had been knocked out by Larios and struggled past Guerrero.
Great fighter, great warrior but not p4p, not on the same level as Pac.

Pac was a weapon at 122 lets not forget. He would have sliced up Gonzalez and barely would have lost a round doing it, he would have manhandled Marquez and would have won so clearly that the prospect of a trilogy between the two would have been outlawed. He has already dominated a supefit and determined Larios in a keep busy fight.

I think Izzy goes down swinging and would make sure Pac knew he was in a fight but no way he beats him. Dont reckon he gets close.

 

Vasquez is a good fighter but can't keep up with PAc's speed esp at 122 where Pac was alot faster than he is today.
