I dont think that they would have fought each other at 122 lbs if they could avoid each other.

They could have probably fought if it was for good money, for unifying all 122 lbs belts + the ring belt.

Takes a round to figure him out, feel his power.. Then second round, uses his faster speed and power to put Izzy out..

 

FW favours PacMan without doubt. 122 is another thing. All I know that Israel used to kick PacMan's ass in sparring - but that's just sparring and Vazquez prepared Manny so well he knocked out Barrera and others.

At 122 it's a 50-50 fight.

Vasquez is a hellva fighter. Can he beat Pac at 122lbs? Hell no.

Pac is a much different and better fighter now. He's a complete package. He can box for 12 rounds (as proven in the Larios fight) or KUTFO in 1.

I do give Israel a punchers chance, but a very slight one at that. His defense is questionable. He's very hittable. I am a big fan Vasquez, but as one previous poster mentioned. He is not even in the same league as Manny.
