This is the official (and perfect/storybook) end of their rivalry, as far as I'm concerned. It was a trilogy, damnit!
One of the best boxing rivalries. The third fight was hands down the best and most dramatic of the bunch. Marquez and Vazquez were made for each other.
I actually didn’t want them to fight more than once. Thought it took too much out of both men. Crazy thing is they rematched 5 months later! Undoubtedly one of the most dramatic and violent trilogies ever.
This is the last fight these two had. People say they had a fourth fight, but I've never seen any documented evidence of that. All of their fights were great, but the third one in particular was insane.
