Israel Vazquez: 'I'm very interested in a Vic Darchinyan fight!'

Izzys going to be fighter of year in 2009 after he knocks out Vic and JuanMa.

 

He is not koing Juanma. I see it the other way around. But then you will be here the next day saying that Izzy was shot after his battles with Rafa.

 

Well, I'll say it right now: if Juan Manuel Lopez knocks out Israel Vazquez in 2009, it's proof that he is shot after the trilogy. :deal

This will be a tough fight - but it will NOT be Marquez Vs Vazquez I, II or III...

Both guys could easily be knocked out here. Vazquez will need to come on the inside and try to cancel out Vic's power but Arce tried that and it got him hurt. Vic has to avoid a war to stay on his feet for 12 rounds.

Both guys could end the fight at any given moment. It would be a truly exciting match up just for that reason.

On paper Rafa takes this in a 12 round decision I'd say - but in the ring, anyone can end it with one punch or one solid combo.

Shaw already said because of his "rich" history with izzy that the fight is very possible. Shaw wants the fight For Vic.

What are you talking about? He was borderline top-10 and was in a number of prominent top-10s before the Marquez trilogy even happened. That's part of what initially made it so special, that it involved one top 10 fighter and another on the fringes of the top 10.
