    It isn't the Israel Vazquez.

This one is a Puerto Rican light flyweight and is making his debut on the undercard of Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. vs. Ivan Hernandez.

I figured some goober (maybe more than one) is going to see it on the ESPN schedule and rush to make a thread about it without stopping to do a double-take and look closely into it first.

So, to nip all that in the bud - "El Magnifico" is not scheduled to fight anybody anywhere at the moment, so far as I know. Hopefully that doesn't change.

I was a big Izzie fan. I'll miss his fights. May he enjoy his retirement.

the amount of scar tissue Vazquez had in the Marquez fight was just ridiculous, and 1 glancing blow could split it open easily. I dont even think surgery can heal it thats how bad it looks.

Holy **** you had me worried there. There's no way he should be fighting again, even his managers want him to retire.
