Vazquez ko1 Larios.It was an explosive two minutes with both men going hell for leather and ending in a devastating ko.Must have been close to getting round of the year and knockout of the year.Grade B+. Larios tko12 Vazquez.A gruelling brawl with several ferocious give and take exchanges although it was slightly one-sided in Larios' favor.Teddy Atlas went berserk in round 12 'you talk about heart,you talk about soul and you talk about wohhhhhh and you talk about a right hand on the button'.The referee gave Vazquez a chance to continue but could easily have stopped it before the last knockdown.Ward-Gatti 1 was a shoe in for 2002 fight of the year but this was surely the runner up.Grade A. Vazquez Tko3 Larios.Vazquez floored Larios in beautiful fashion at the start of round 1.It was entertaining while it lasted but sadly produced an anti-climatic ending.The fight was stopped due to a horible cut over Larios' eye.Grade C+.
