Caballero won eliminator to Vazquez's IBF belt in 2005. He already had big upset win over Daniel Ponce De Leon and then dispatched of Jose Luis Valbuena quicker than Vazquez did - so there would be some intrigue to it even at that point. Fight never happend as Vazquez dropped the IBF belt after beating Larios for the WBC - and Caballero went other way as well. He ended up fighting for WBA interim title instead. Any thoughts on how this fight would play out? Whether at that moment around 2005, or later on if Rafael Marquez did not move up and Vazquez and Caballero were matched in unification instead?
