That's an insane fight since Vazquez would go for it and most probably would end up in the morgue... The reason there are matchmakers and managers is so that such fights never take place!

imo if Vasquez still has the hunger, then he wins it.

assuming vazquez was not yet damaged in his wars with marquez, i would pick him over lopez. lopez stylistically has the advantage over vazquez but i cannot ignore vazquez' heart to win. other assets of vazquez are his vast experience and power though lopez really had an amazing display of power too in his de leon fight.

I'm sure of what I'm saying bro. Juanma hits Izzy the way he hit PDL and Vazquez keeps shaking it and going for it... And at the end of the fight ( even if it goes twelve which I very seriously doubt), there's another tragedy in boxing like Burgos... Actually, I did expect a tragedy in Hatton vs Mayweather but Thank Almighty Lord, Ricky lived to fight another day...

loud and clear juanma fan. ;)

i was also very impressed with his power knocking ponce de leon in just a round. i still cannot get out of my mind the way de leon's legs are shaking after getting hit by that right hook.

And we have to consider that Izzy has been in 3 huge fights and may want to turn this one into a a give and take contest once again... Juanma finds his mark with a str8 left and combines it with a horse kick from his right hooked arm and Izzy takes and comes back for more... That is very dangerous right now for Vazquez. He should have a long layoff and some easy fights from now on... And that's it. Vazquez is a great warrior and I want to see him enjoy life beyond and after boxing, I really do.

lopez is good but i think he's getting overrated, i mean c'mon we've only seen him less than a round in a championship level plus DPDL was not that very good to begin with, we need to see more of him to have him proven

Doesn't have a good chin? Probably not cast-iron, but still more than good by any standards.

Unless he has been permanently damaged by the trilogy with Marquez then Vasquez takes this one.

Aren't we getting a little carried away by JML's KO of Ponce de Robot.

I think Juan Ma would take this in a year or so basically because I DO think Izzy is permanently damaged. I don't see how he wouldn't be if you look at the fights he's been in...and if you take into account Freddie Roach saying that Izzy was slurring his words prior to the first fight with Rafa. I love Izzy to death but I think the time has come and gone for him.

That said the Izzy Vasquez from round 12 of the 3rd fight destroys JuanMa in 5.

Vasquez has been in too many wars and if this fight happens then it will show.

Vasquez has heart but i'm sure that he's not skilled enough to handle Lopez.

    Larios x2
    Gonzales
    Marquez x3

    He's been stopped 3 of his 4 losses ...

Juanma beats him ... in a passing of the torch fight ...
