2 blood and guts warriors who produced one of the best fights in history. @ Super Bantamweight who do you favor in this exciting match up?

Lupé right now, I'm impressed with my recent watchings off Vásquez but not that impressed.

    This would be breath-taking.

I think Vasquez was a little hot and cold, but when he was at his best, as in the 2nd Marquez fight, the 3rd Larios fight, and his win over Art Simonyan, he was awe inspiring. He was a hard hitting boxer puncher who had a really high work rate but at the same time wasn't some inefficient swarmer.

Obviously Pintor was great too. I think the flesh around Vasquez's eyes is such a liability that Pintor would be the smart bet.

Hard to say. If Pintor was a slow starter at 118 then he was absolutely glacial at 122. Doesn't have the track record at 122 that Izzy had either, really. Meza was there to be had against Pintor, he was nothing much. That's all we have to go off of with Pintor other than battling hard against Gomez.

If he fights the same way against Izzy that he did Gomez then he probably wins, maybe by stoppage but that's a lot to assume. That's the only time at 122 Pintor looked that good.

along w Walker. Yes he does. At Superbantam this is a tossup if Vasquezs face stays good.

Even my admittedly (extraordinarily) biased ass knows Izzy would be in the Danger Zone here.
