Israil Madrimov vs Terence Crawford possible for August 3rd

I'm not even thinking straight

If Madrimov can't KO Crawford he can't win because the three US judges will rob him and the US ref will do his not so subtle best to make it as difficult for him to get the W too

If it's over in Saudi it should be different

 

The only legit banger his size Crawford has ever fought is Egis and Egis dropped him. Crawford has fought an awful lot of featherfists, light punchers and average punchers and very few legit bangers, let alone KO artists. It's crazy that he's bigger than career 154 pounder Madrimov despite 147 being his third weight class. I think Madrimov said he comes in just below 160 or at 160 and Crawford was coming in as high as 157 at 140, and whilst he's far more experienced than Madrimov and has mixed in higher company than him, he's fought so few legit bangers, especially ones his size, his chin is still largely untested at elite puncher level and if Madrimov detonates on it he's going to hurt him real bad.

 

Crawford doesn't want that Super Boots smoke because he knows he's an elite puncher, can match him for size and length, has fast hands too.

But Super Boots ain't beat no one and Crawford has attainted god status now and he can pick and choose who he wants. GTFOH. He don't want the smoke because he knows there's a high chance Super Boots sends his ass to the shadow realm. That's the long and short of it

Same reason Spence wanted nothing to do with Super Boots. I think Ortiz, Stan and Egis would've stood a high/good chance of knocking Spence out too. I don't trust his whiskers at all

It's a great match up and the main concerns for Madrimov are his lack of experience, much shorter reach, and Crawford doing that sneaky almost stiff-arming thing he does to keep the opponent at bay. But if Madrimov gets past his reach and cracks him best believe he's tasting power unlike he's ever felt before
