Tim Boxeo had this penciled in as lasting until 4pm EST, which it very well might have if staged in Russia.

(which, now that I think about it, ought to have been a dead giveaway that 11am EST was far too late a start time...since 4pm our time is 2am in Tashkent..)

 

This is a good anthem. I could see an epic symphonic power metal cover of this being dope.

 

I think even Borat Sagdiyev would have to give it up for their dedication, even if to "assholes Uzbekistan".

 

Round 1

Madrimov is circling and jabbing the body. Soro turning and keeping a tight guard in front of his chin, tops of his knuckle padding just a tad below his nose, abandoning full coverage of his face to easily drop his elbows and cover his vitals if need be. Tactical, slow opener, both just pecking with jabs and seeking openings, feeling one another out. Madrimov busier, stringing together some light straight reach-in combos downstairs with his lead knee bent to lunge in without fully committing himself. Occasional hooks up top dashing in by Madrimov, but Soro is able to catch them on the back of his right glove so that at worst they graze his ear.

Round 2

Madrimov is circling, jabbing the belt line, and roping out rights that range from Soro's throat up to his nose, usually picked off at least partially. Soro has yet to get off the blocks offensively, just letting Madrimov stalk and pot shot virtually without resistance.
