The real deal didn't look like the real deal in his last two fights. He was gassed and hurt/stunned in both fights against Nobodys. I agree though Madrimov SHOULD win especially after a 2 year layoff of Soro but this is a really tough fight. Soro is pretty much one of the most underrated guys out there. While i do not agree with the Split Decision in the Castano fight it was still a close and competitive fight and most of the rounds he landed good stuff but was outworked.

I'm going with Madrimov via close UD like 116-112.

Kalomobo never hurt him come on. Madrimov should have won by KO against Walker if it weren't for poor refereeing.

Also he took the fight on short notice, he only had a 5 week camp.

Kalombo stunned him once, i rewatched that last night and landed some really good shots overall. You don't want to take those shots from Soro who is hitting MUCH harder. Everytime Kalombo was letting his hands go he had success.

And regarding the Walker fight: You should rewatch Rounds 7 & 8. It was BEFORE the potential KO he was robbed of. A very bad look. People forget about that because everyone is talking about the KO but missing how bad he looked before that in 7 & 8.

Madrimov is very good and extremely talented & skilled but right now i don't see him beating Charlo or Castano tbh. Maybe he's stepping it up tonight.

Real hyped for this. It’s not every friday evening you come home from work for quality boxing on TV(or on an app).

I used to think Madrimov was one of the best prospects in boxing, right up there with the likes of Virgil Ortiz and Shakur Stevenson, but the hype cooled off in the last year. He has a chance to prove he’s the real deal again.
