    I predict that he will not only a) within a couple of years emerge as the clear acclaimed p4p #1 of his nation (for whom Madrimov fought in the WSB in the 75kg division, racking up a 5-1 record on his country's Tigers squad), eclipsing some, at present, vastly more experienced fellow unbeaten prospects such as Murodjon Akhmadaliev, Shohjahon Ergashev, and even Qudratillo Abduqaxorov but also b) prove his early hype, even after just his professional debut, more warranted than is that of American lightweight Devin Haney with 19 more contests under his belt. And perhaps, c) end up as the preeminent southpaw in the game, depending on when Lomachenko retires.

    Nobody does what he did to Vladimir Hernández in their goddamn maiden voyage. That is just absurd, that performance, vis-a-vis LOC.

    Even if you don't really know much about Hernández, if you trust my word in the least bit, take it at face value that, while by no means a world beater, Vlad is a SOLID dude, and somebody you don't just toy with like that off the jump. We have a very special addition to 154lbs (and then eventually, likely MW) in our ranks.

    Looks to be the goods, tbh I was very impressed, he needs some tweaking but he's legit and unless something drastic happens a def future world champion.

    Tbh I was very impressed with all the Uzbek fighters last night.

    That poor Mexican lad took a pasting. Ref / his corner should've saved him from himself. But a 10 rounder on a debut!? I will watch this kid with interest.

    He's as much your kind of guy as mine, stylistically. In fact I'd say he is the perfect overlapping section of a Venn diagram of all our mutual boxing wet dreams. :lol:

    He looked really impressive

    He beat Cuban Olympic gold and world amateur gold medalist Arlen Lopez twice in the WSB and had he been awarded the decision in this one which many felt he deserved he would've come back with at least silver in the world amateur championships himself.

    Looks very good and only 23. His defense is a little erratic but he does have a nice variety of punches. I like that old style "right hand over the top". Don't see that punch thrown with skill very often.

    While I applaud them challenging the guy and getting him a 10 rounder against a solid bum in his first fight. Madrimov didn't look like a guy who should have been in a 10 rounder in his first fight. I was expecting a bit more of an advanced fighter for the hype I hear from some corners. He does look like a solid prospect though. He seems to have the type of style that doesn't provide for a long ring life though. I'll be looking forward to seeing how he progresses.

    Sorry for the delay, I was pissed that that upload was missing the 2nd and part of the 3rd, so I tried my best to hunt down a full version, with no success. So I settled for that one, you're right, I came 3 times in the 3rd.:sisi1 This guy is ****ing magical, there's absolutely nothing I don't like about him, his footwork, handspeed, combinations, punch selection, punch placement, angles, defense, all fairly immaculate and he's shockingly fast for a 154lber. That's one of the best pro debuts I've seen since Loma-Ramirez. Brilliant!

    Chill out, that was as solid as they come for a guy's first fight, so now what? Has Lomachenko ruined it for everyone? If you don't put on a Loma or Rigo like masterclass in your first outing, you give them a big fat "meh". Jesus Christ, drop the inhumanly high standards.:lol: He's an incredibly solid exceptionally skilled guy, no one is saying he's as good as Loma, but if you weren't impressed with a debut like that, you're dead inside.

    Vladimir Hernández isn't a "bum". He's a good fighter, not just for a pro debut but a good fighter, period.

    Eh...It's a very good debut against a solid opponent, but it's far too early, in my opinion, to be anointing him as a future world champion on the basis of this one fight. Needs to work on his consistency, and allowed Vladamir to enjoy far too much success in the 5th after having him dead to rights.

    He might be the next Loma-GGG hybrid. He might also be the next Bojado. The jury's (or, at least, my verdict) is out until I see how he progresses going forward.
