Yet again Ben Shalom pulls out …. 1 hour before the bid , stating Chamerlain is moving up to fight for Euro title . Of course that’s the reason Ben , we believe you
An absolute cancer to British boxing.

supposed to fight Chev Clarke .

Mick Hennesy has posted on twitter that is has nothing to do with Ben Shalom as Chamberlain made the decision himself

Erm, well this is awkward. You might want to check the briefing from Hennessy sports before swallowing Eddie's version of events

Of course it is not a coincidence that it's hennessy and not Shalom.

I thought Hennessy was managing him rather than promoting?

either way it’s still pathetic waiting until 1 hour before

To be fair, Cieslak is no mug, that’s a harder fight than Clarke imo

Seeing as Hennessey manages him and doesn’t promote him. Who else provided him with alternative options and purses besides boxxer? How does he know how much the EBU fight will be and if a promoter from UK will even bid for it?

course it was boxxers decision and like the smith fight should have been done weeks ago.

Sky clearly don't want these risky purse bids as with their small stable it risks making their talent look lower level to the causal eye

Not sure why Shalom is getting stick here as he Imo has his hand tied

Na. It's down to having a small stable and having obligations to deliver for Sky so can't lose fights to another broadcaster.

Possibly but I think SKY have a very large say in these things

The thing is none of us really know so we have to make a judgement call and i believe Mick Hennessy over the snake Eddie Hearn

If Chamberlain goes on to fight Cieslak then I've got no problems as it's for the European.

However, if he ends up fighting Viddal Riley and avoids Clarke then it's a poor move.

The timing of the pull out is poor and not a great look whoever's call it was.

Rumours are Cieslak could be vacating anyway which would make things interesting.
