His win got over shadowed by Crawford tearing Spence a new A-hole and everything. . . but Cruz is probably one of the most underappreciated fighters out there. The man deserves his rematch with Tank Davis! Hopefully Tank mans up and gives it to him.
I like the pitbull but his size dictates he needs a partner willing to dance. He'd benefit from a return to 15 round fights.
Yeah I thought he lost…he’s not very good and there’s nothing about him that would make me consider him a serious threat. He just not Elite IMHO
He absolutely does in my opinion. He gave Davis a hard fight and when the interviewer asked Davis would he give Pitbull the rematch he immediately said, NO! I don't think Tank Davis is good and his career has been guided so I know for a fact he is weak and ready for a real fighter to beat him into submission. I think an Issac rematch could do it.
i thought he should have lost against cabrera. He also does not belong in that weight class, way too small.
I've never seen a guy get so much millage out of losing a fight just because he wasn't stopped. What in the world are we doing here?
Did you watch his last fight? You know, the one he lost but was gifted a decision? They must have big plans for him, maybe a rematch with Davis, who wants to avoid top opponents at all cost. Pit Bull looked good against Davis but he’s still a scrub, nothing more. Tries hard but will never be a B+ fighter let alone elite. He’s a hero to midgets and try hard types but that’s about it. Will never be a top fighter. Ever.
hes a guy who goes into just about every fight with the physical disadvantage. he puts his head in his opponents chest and applies pressure the entire fight. all the fights ive seen him in were entertaining as well. Im not saying hes an elite fighter or that he will ever be some kind of pfp great. But hes a tough little guy with a ton of heart. and if he was such a **** fighter, Davis would have already given him his rematch.
Clearly neither one of you saw this weekend's fight. Or maybe Tank Davis has better things to do than fight a guy who got a gift against Giovani Cabrara. Like twiddling his thumbs.
I would never go as far as give Cabrera the nod, but the SD is an accurate reflection of the many doubts and critical thoughts arising after the last bout.
Might be simply a matter of styles though. Isaac sits at the extreme end of the short fighters spectrum, and it invites equally extreme interactions with certain styles.
