Why do you use the word obsessed? Of course 3g wanted to face Canelo. Not only was he the linear MW Champ (You get that part, the liner MW Champ?) but also boxing cash cow. It would make no sense at all to have canelo as the linear MW champ and not to think 3g would try to fight him. Most boxer fight their entire careers w/o getting the red carpet treatment Canelo has received since he debuted on cable TV. Other, and I should say MOST actually, have to chase and take what fights they can.

 

GGG could of known better and tooken other routes to cement his legacy and now look what happen to him. He should of learned from after the first fight . Like GGG going after Canelo was no big issue thing is he lost the ibf belt because he waited for Ginger he skipped over bjs in a unification fight for undisputed. ... GGG passed up one title bjs and was stripped of another over Canelo . What he could of done was unify with BJS long ago and then fight Canelo
