The man himself says he wasn't gassed. Mentally exhausted is more likely. Shane has always been in tip top shape and no way in hell was he going to be out of shape going into the biggest fight of his career. Floyd made his workrate go away the same as martinez made pavlik's workrate go away and that is to smack the guy who is thinking about throwing a punch in the face. it only takes 8lbs of pressure to trigger the nerve to buzz when u get hit by a chin shot and floyd was hitting his mark 76 time and more than likely buzzing shane. some of the shots u see on the replay had shane's eye glazed. OF COURSE THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SHANE BEING TIMID. NONE

He was making Jermain Taylor look relaxed. It was odd.

i agree, its laughable that people think these guys who train like animals would gas in the 3rd. its impossible unless they receive deathlike blows.

Shane ALWAYS fight jittery.....:tired do people watch boxing on these forums or just once in a while? Floyd's camp even talked about shane fights jittery and that floyd should smack him with a jab when shane is busy bouncing. Hell Frazier fought jittery.

Yeah I thought he looked intimidated and nervous early on, had a bit of success in round 2, and from then on looked more and more frustrated, disheartened, and, well, broken I suppose. Don't think his physical condition was a problem really, I think Floyd did that to him.

At times in the last third of the fight it actually crossed my mind that he may do an Oliver McCall. He looked totally mentally broken to me and I was really glad to see he was ok afterwards.

Shane gassed because Floyd made him gas. Simple as that.

thats exactly what i thought. Shane have the typical floyd opponent look and that is embrassed, confused, and discouraged. you can't fight with that mentality.

Shane didn't gas after round 2 you mother****ers have no shame. You're trying to tell me that a world class boxer like Mosley is going to be gassed after only two rounds of boxing? Hell I'm not even in sparring shape right now but I could go 2 rounds that's nothing to a pro.

I can box 4 rounds and i don't even jog and when i do is a mile. Shane jog miles on top of a mountain. I don't care if he is 38 or 58. If you can jog miles on the hill side you have stamina. It is how things work. running is brutal.

you are kind of right. Mosley had the gas beaten out of him. Be logical please. If mosley would have kept landing like he did in the second do you think he would have tired? Lets give credit were it is do. Mosley himself said floyd made the adjustment and he could not readjust.

Shane looked gassed in the second half of the fight I think. With Mayweather making him miss and countering sharply, it's hardly a surprise really.

Shane didn't gas. Floyd adjusted. Which was just as bad for shane if he had gassed.

    P.S

Floyd is the best Boxer i've seen in my lifetime. We should really be grateful to witness such a Boxing talent that will be highly missed and praised in the future.

Of course Mosley gassed after 2 rounds. You can see it at the end of round 2. But what do you expect? He's nearly 39 and hadn't fought in well over a year.
