It appears that Wilder will refuse to fight Povetkin, just read it tonight

    Povetkin is Wilder's mandatory, so why will the WBC allow Wilder to refuse to fight his mandatory? WBC should strip Wilder of the title............who will Wilder fight next? Rematch with Sconiers? Will the WBC make Sconiers #1 instead of Povetkin? Povetkin Vs. Wilder was ordered by the WBC.....................so...................who is behind the duck? Rules are rules.................

    How many times do we have to go over this the purse bid won't start until what late October maybe November ..So he wants to stay busy as does Povetkin ..Nothing wrong with that as long as they meet

    Where did you read this? I for one do think it's bush league for Wilder to make allegations of steroid use just because someone is facing better competition than you have been and winning impressively. But Wilder has to fight Povetkin by January or be stripped.

    Povetkiin was guaranteed a fight with Wilder, is ranked #1 WBC...........Stiverne had to fight Wilder who was ranked #1 by WBC without Wilder fighting any top heavyweight................and who did Stiverne ever fight. Wilder refused to fight Vlad, I wish Vitali could come out of retirement and force a fight with Wilder since he is WBC emeritus. Wilder said that he would only fight the top fighters if he won the title, so we got Molina...................next a wino from an alley.................Taishan (Dong) would knock Wilder out with a jab and he has had only a few fights. He is 7 feet tall and is awesome, trained by Buddy McGirt....................Wach would be a good fight, he is only 6 feet 8 inches tall, and what about Wilder's promise to fight Vlad? Arreola knocked Molina out in the very first round. I think Povetkin scared Wilder with his first round knockout of iron chin Cuban amateur star Perez..................will he fight Jennings? How about 6 foot 8 inch Ustinov? Pulev?

    I expected this, Povetkin looked amazing recently as many here said he is clear #2 behind Wlad.

    Taishan Dong is a tomato can. Not a top 100 heavyweight. So a 50/50 fight for Wilder, whoever lands first.

    I have never posted on Castefootball, so whomever claims that **** is a fraud................a liar....................if there is someone there using my name then they should quit it right now....................I post on ESB about boxing, since the Lounge is gone, but I have no reason to post on a foot ball forum, baseball or anything else..................Why should anyone post about boxing on a foot ball forum anyway.................shows how low some go.....................haven't had time to post at ESB much lately and I have been here "before" 2004...............

    As far as Taishan, his jab is superior to Wilder's, the point is that even a fighter as green as Taishan could beat Wilder. I have seen him fight, Buddy McGirt thinks he will be a force in the heavyweight division is a few years.

    Then there is the lie that Povetkin is taking steroids...................where is the proof? How did Povetkin win the gold in the Olympics? How did Vlad win the gold? Wilder has probably the worst balance of any champion in heavyweight history................Valouev would have knocked Wilder out...........

    I can't believe you would need to overrate Taishan Dong just to trash Wilder :patsch

    Povetkin is not taking steroids for sure. I believe additional test would not be problem for Pov since he also had strict testing against Wlad.
