Like Floyd - and let's be honest, you never get your moneys worth from him - worship him yet slate people like GGG who fight anyone in their division, destroy them and in doing so have the rest of the division running scared.

Give me a KO machine who wants the big fights and entertains EVERY TIME, over a pot-shotting diva with a ridiculously low output (Floyd) or a clincher with no ambition to fight the best (Ward) or an old man who, although he fights the best, is not exciting at all (Hopkins) ANYDAY.

Face it: This is the entertainment business, and not one fighter in Boxing is doing it better today than GGG.

Everyone has their own personal taste and reasoning with what interests, entertains, or inspires them.

Money generated would be a better way of determining that than just your, my, or some other specific opinion.

Because they're wussies who don't want to get hit either, like their hero.

as floyd has slowed down he has become pretty sloppy in my opinion, i liked his precision accuracy and great counterpunching, but he certainly has slipped from the days of the marquez fights etc. not sure how anyone finds ward boring ? his last few fights have been very good to watch

I'm interested to see how GGG does in his first PPV, and I'm interested in how his numbers compare to say Floyd's first PPV outing.

There's room for both, people seem to think that boxing should be fought in the way they like only... That will never be the case, fighters will fight in ways that will give them the best chance of winning that's within (and sometimes outside) the ruleset.

You don't have to watch the fighters you don't like.

People like what they like. It's that simple. If you don't like it, don't watch it. As for Floyd he is brilliant in the ring and obviously you and most haters never watched him at 130 to 140 and early 147. Floyd was just below Roy Jones when it came to offensive and defensive dominance in the ring. 130 Floyd let them hands fly and was something special. Wasn't until the higher weight that he adjusted his style. Crazy thing is people say his output is low but he usually throws more than his opponents. Threw more than Manny.

By that logic, does that mean than fans of more offensive fighters like getting hit?

No but it could mean we like bravery and valor being displayed in the ring when you're in a fight and not running and sucker punching like a *****. The few fights I've been in however silly and inconsequential as they may have been I didn't back down and run like a coward, I went at them and pushed back, it may have hurt worse, but I felt better about myself afterwards.

The bravery displayed in the ring is because they don't have the talent to "run like a coward".

It's a sad day in boxing when clinching, running, hugging, etc. is considered "talent":-(

Sergio Martinez did, but when he got hurt he wouldn't hold, he wouldn't run he'd fight his way through like a real man.:deal

I enjoy watching Floyd fight, I also enjoy watching GGG fight even though he only fights bums, The beauty of boxing is that there are all different styles and that is one of the things I love about boxing.
