Exactly, I think fighters evolve their style not just go like "Okay I'm gonna be a slugger, I like slugging" but more along the lines of trying many different things and moulding something from what works and discarding what doesn't FOR THEM, to be as good as they possibly can be.

Why did you put quotation marks around fans?

Gatti did say that but it would still be in his nature to fight toe to toe when things heated up. I feel that I support aggressive fighters more people like things they can relate to. Don't get me wrong I appreciate mayweather's skills but when u can see he has his opponent hurt and tired but still doesn't go for the finish it's so frustrating

I would love to see all of my favorite BRAWLERS such as Pac, JMM, and Bradley to be the champions.

But I have much love and tradition for the sport! I think that the scientific technical fighters dont deserve hate unless they can be beaten! WHile my fav bralwers are dear to my heart, they CANNOT or DID NOT beat Floyd Mayweather Jr. In great honor for the sport, I will NOT BE ONE OF THOSE FANS who wants to make excuses! Floyd beat my FAV FIGHTERS fair and square.

    Tunney vs Jack Dempsey
Ali vs EVERYONE BEFORE HIS COMEBACK

these BRAWL VS TECH matchups have always been a force of great SCHISM but the truth will set you free and at the end of the day FIGHTERS FIGHT and WINNERS WIN AND LOSERS: well you know.

I love all aspects of the SPORT of boxing.

That is why Rocky Marciano BEAT THOSE TECHNICAL FIGHTERS: HE DIDNT lose a close decision and then cry about BEING AN AGGRESSOR.

if someone can clinch YOU the way Floyd was easily able to do to manny (underhook) you would be taken down and subdued.

FACT FLOYD WINS IN A STREET FIGHT AGAINST MANNY

    WHY?

    1. NO RING.
    2. FLOYD CAN GET OFF FIRST, A RIGHT COUNTER LIKE THAT WITHOUT FLOYDS PILLOWS WOULD BREAK MANNYS FACE.
    2. SUPERIOR IN THE CLINCH, ABLE TO GET UNDERHOOKS. STRONGER.

FLOYD WOULD TAKE HIM DOWN AND GNP HIM. WHILE THE MONEY TEAM THROWS THOSE GHETTO KICKS OR WHATEVER.

    fact.

BUT!!!!! You forget to mention WHY Floyd moved up didnt you??? He moved up to avoid the dangerous fighters in each division. He never fought top contenders when he moved up.
GGG is doing the right thing he wants to clean out the 160 division then move up. Sad thing is all the 160 "elite" seem reluctant to face him. They know they cannot beat him
What a way for Floyd to bow out, take on GGG at 154??? Shame he aint got the cojones:patsch:hi:

FICTION!!!! ROFLMAO All Floyd would do is run away
What you described is just how Ronda Rousey would kick Floyd's a$$

floyd didnt move up to avoid anyone.....thats simply wishful thinking

    ggg is ducking ward....

floyds resume crushes ggg's and its not even close....floyd could have retired 10 years ago and his resume would still have been better right now

Floyd's resume & legacy SUCK!!! There is a list of legitimate opponents as long as your arm that he avoided Heck he even "RETIRED"to avoid Margarito & a rematch with DelaHoya ROFL
If Floyd had been blessed with the cojones of a champion like he was the boxing talents he maybe would have been an ATG today & even one of TBE . No one to blame but himself that he's not:hi:

GGG wasted two guys in Macklin and Murray who should have been champs. They were top contenders when he beat them.
