I like watching crisp, sharp fighters.

Sloppy fighters that throw random uncoordinated punches just praying that they hit are just not aesthetically pleasing to watch. You can get hit often and still be sharp as long as you land good counters, make the other guy miss every now and again and connect with effective technically sound punches. Accuracy is important.

If you just look like a fking orangutan in there swinging for the fences with ineffective punches and missing wildly, no matter how much people clamour "THIS IS A GREAT FIGHT!! WAR!!!" it just doesnt excite me at all. If I wanted that I would just go to the local watering hole...

And I can respect that. Everyone has preferences regarding styles. Most of the people on here, it's either/or no inbetween. That sickens me. I can watch and appreciate pugilism or an in the trenches brawl without having to disrespect either style.

Of course he would beat me because he's a professional boxer and I'm not. The few fights I've been in are silly street dust ups.

I know a couple of ginger highschool wrestlers that can take Mayweather down at will and pound his face in, me included.

Well then it's a good thing he's not a wrestler but instead a boxer, huh?

What is your record in combat sports?

I would get beat in a boxing match no doubt..... but without the rules, referees, taps you call punches, his style of competing would not work well in real life scenarios. Which is why I do not even consider him a fighter.

So all boxers should be able to win at street fights and be able to destroy other people in a no rules fight to be a fighter? :nut

You know how many boxers would most likely lose if they fought guys in MMA/UFC/Street Fighters?

    Your logic is crazy!
