It baffles me why British fans dont support Amir Khan and the hate in general

The guys on the cusp of unifying the 140lbs division, has the alleged best fighter at 140lbs Timothy Bradley ducking him, and all I ever hear about his how he doesnt do this or that, or how he has a glass jaw. Hell many are giving Zab "I show up to big fights like Lebron James shows up in the 4th quarter" Judah a chance to beat him.

So far he's beaten Koltenik, Salita, Malignaggi and Maidana. I think thats pretty good considering how Kotelnik handled Alexander.

People give him **** for the McCloskey fight, when if any elite fighter fought like McCloskey did, they'd never appear on television again. The guy was a goofball.

I just dont see why there is so much hate or indifference to Khan when he is the one British fighter with true potential to make it on the P4P list. He is far better then DeGale or Haye. :bart

The same reason m\ny (well..myself) dislike Haye. He talks and talks and talks (and seems to look stupid every time he opens his mouth).

I dont hear the same things out of Khans mouth that comes from HAye's mouth. Khan recognizes Manny and Floyd are the best but wants to one day challenge their thrown.

Khan comes across as media-friendly if a bit of a try-hard. Haye was trashtalking out of his ass

Listen to the post fight comments after the McCloskey fight "I would have had him out of there, he was tired" when he'd never landed anything clean. He tried to get more money from Sky than the fight was worth (and wouldn't take the cut, again turning fans off him). Pretty sure he said something stupid after beating Maidana too. Also he did say something bout how the British hate him because he's Asian...again not something that will get the fans behind you.

Amir needs to put in some impressive performances because he has been lackluster for his past 3 fights. Capped off by a very disappointing fight in the UK. I like the guy, was a fan of his speed and power style ( against weak UK boxers) and i am fan of who he is as a person. But you have to show that you are a superstar in the ring. I wish the kid all the best. And look forward to his fight with Zab Judah. It appears that he doesn't look as impressive against qty opposition. Well, it is asking for too much.Lately he hasn't looked like the old Amir Khan.

And then he walks and walks and walks, some spectacular fights, a nice cameback from devastation, taking all challenges and wanting the best, and doing charity & other stuff off-time. He does all that outside of talking. Haye just talks.

Last 3 fights? He dominated Malignaggi. That was just 3 fights ago.

Against Maidana he looked great the first 6 rounds. Nearly every fighter at some point comes up against a tough hispanic fighter that pushes them to the limit. And unlike Ortiz, Khan didnt crack. I think from that standpoint it shows that he has heart.

Against McCloskey he was fighting a guy who was doing everything he could to stink up the joint. A pure clown.

Against Judah, Khan is going to tear him to pieces.

Khan is just a stupid kid, he once said on Sky TV that he had ZERO percent body fat. He also claimed that Hatton is one dimensional and couldnt box as well as him , when Hatton has always supported Khan . That kind of talk does not go down well with fans.

Boxing could use more Khan's, a polarizing character who is on a mission to create a great legacy in the sport.

Whether you like him or not you can't deny the dude chases tough fights.
