It baffles me why British fans dont support Amir Khan and the hate in general

I think Quillin needs work, and may be just a paper strap holder at his best. But to say he is Joe Greene level? Umm no. Quillin has real power, and the desire to better himself. And he already has command over the pull counter, which shows he has some skill in him.

Are you ******ed? Obviously Europe is experiencing a backlash against muslim immigration, you'd have to blind or deaf or just ignorant not to see it. Not surprising because of how absurd they are with customs and traditions and insularity of their culture, but seriously?

    shut the **** up.

If I'm ultimately proven wrong on my view with Quillin, great.
He seems like a nice guy.

But you have to admit, there are people on here who build him into something he currently is not. Did he look good against Brinkley? Sure.
Think of all of the fights he looked bad in though.
Now maybe that's just growing pains.... Jean Pascal looked bad against Pittman. But Pascal proved himself after that fight, inspite of how he looked against Pittman.

Brinkley shouldn't not be the gage of someone's future success.

He can't be both a reason to crap on Bute for opponent selection choice and then applauded for opponent selection when Quillin fights him.

  6. because he is a ****stani/muslim, to most of trhe brirish people they are seen as terrorist, benefit scroungers, they take there jobs etc, they dont like to see an asian doing so well and hope and pray for his downfall. you wont see many people saying, "i cant wait for haye to get knocked out again" but with khan its the norm,

Michigan, not trying to teach you any geography , and this is not me trying to be an expert either, but India and ****stan have been close to war for generations . The white Brits that I know have no anger to either.

In boxing terms there was a boxer of ****nstan Origin called Jawaid Khaliq who was fighting in and around 98 - 04 , he had a very good following because of his style and manner.

Do you really think Ricky Hatton and Joe Calzaghe got to be the most popular boxers in Britain because they were the most exciting or because everybody could relate to them.

I have seen Amir Khan up close and he walks around with an entorauge like fooking Obama, and he hasnt justified that.

Its this that pisses people off , not colour or religion.

    Correction:
    He has desire.

We'll have to see if he has ability.

i mean every boxer in the ****ing universe does this. seriously? Hangers-on are part and parcel of being a successful athlete. You ever see Pacquiao's, Mayweathers, or Tyson's crew?

No , but I have sat next to Hatton watching Calzaghe and this is when Hatton was in his prime. Approachable and humble. I have also met Lewis and he didnt need no hangers on.

Also you have just mentioned three iconic figures in the boxing world.

Khan was acting like the president when fighting 4 rounders .

Lesser fighters have big and weird entourages too. You ever see that dude from africa, the lightweight who carries himself to the ring in a cage wearing a lion skin carried by four massive oiled up black dudes?

seriously, no reason to hate. he's not a bad guy clearly

You want a humble boxer: Glen Johnson.

    Gotta love that guy.

    My thoughts exactly .

A very popular fighter in Britan.

Our most popular right now - Carl Froch - doesnt talk **** , just does it in the ring.
