It baffles me why British fans dont support Amir Khan and the hate in general

Because domestically Khan allowed his brothers to exert to much control over his affairs and leading up to the Prescott fight they were lording over people in the British boxing scene and ruffled plenty of feathers , Amir himself has been much more grounded and modest since he went with Roach compared to his prima donna days leading up to the Prescott loss.

Sadly a minority of his fans in the early days latched onto him to try and show how superior Khan was because of his muslim heritage - in a country that is in fear of the growth of sharia law , claims of islamic supremacy left a very bad taste in the mouth and a lot of negativity towards Khan.

I admire his willingness to meet tough challengers since he's been with Freddie Roach - since then he's a much more grounded and humble guy .

he was as obnoxious as david Haye before the Prescott loss - claiming to be a world class lightweight while at the same time refusing to meet the undefeated Johnny Murray to see who was the best in the UK @ 135 .

and Bangladash was still one country now the world would know about it, no one would dare **** with us, the British and the west knew this when they divided us up.

Yeah Khan is doing this for all the Asians.

lackluster in his last 3 fights????
he dominated a very tricky fighter in mallignaggi who has wins against juan diaz, ndou and cherry. amir won pretty much every round. he then fought the hardest hitting light welter weight and dominated large parts of the fight with speed and movement and only made the fight close because he got caught by stupid shots. when amir was boxing well in that fight he looked levels above. he did show his vunrability like his lack of head movement and bad positioning but still impressed me a lot.

The threat of Sharia law ( real or imagined ) has a lot of people running scared of Muslims to a certain extent - aided by a propaganda driven media who would have us all believe that there is a terrorist around every street corner .

A damn shame that an entire culture should suffer such prejudice to the extent where it leaves a fine fighter like Khan ( since he's been with Freddie ) out in the cold .

Come on man get real, you think the leaders in Europe would ever let Sharia Law come into practise?, thats just a EDL driving banner trying to fool people.

Indeed, and it was a pretty successful multicultural society, perhaps one of the few to really deserve that appellation. I honestly wish that everything was reversed and Afghanistan, ****stan, India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka would reunite again- i think our generation is mostly over the stupid religious conflict and realizes that both countries need to just focus on their own internal problems...Mostly hilarious amounts of corruption :-:)lol:

LOL at the idea of sharia law ever being implemented in any real scale in europe.

    This.

And I honestly have no idea, I mean people were jumping all over him because he said he wanted to fight the Mayweather-Ortiz winner... what the ****'s wrong with having ambition and wanting to fight the best?, is that a crime now? :huh

The funny thing is that when he says that people are always like "HUR DUR KHAN 1000 TIMES TO RAW 4 THIS FIGHT". Well **** me then, because Ortiz has less championship level experience, and only a single fight at the WW limit, so i don't get that logic.
Exactly, I can't stand the BJP and other ridiculous nationalist movements in the country that are aiming to divide more... And i feel sorry for y'all because obviously certain dubious elements are having their say in some **** they really shouldn't..
