It bothers me Max Kellerman makes more than most boxers

Oh okay. I like max never know why people dont like him, he knows his boxing regardless what people think. An that celebrity networth site where people look is not near accurate its just a guess.

 

Kellerman makes most of that in crack deal on the side.

Thats the thing I dont get about the whole "jones is broke" argument.

The guy is a family man,and lives on a farm

Its not like he has 11 kids by 9 women like Holyfield,(Tyson must be in the same ballpark with baby mommas) or he isnt a hard partier like Tyson was.

He doesnt own pet Tigers etc.

I dont get how he could be broke.

Actually, no. It was, in fact, quite controversial among both boxing journalists and boxing fans, many of whom objected to elevating Kellerman when he really wasn't qualified. This is demonstrated by several quotes in that article that was posted.

Kellerman, alone among major boxing commentators, never worked as a boxing journalist or was a participant (i.e. boxer or trainer). Basically, he was some punk plucked off cable access TV and put on ESPN in the late 90s. He never paid dues, and it shows.

That this unqualified punk is a commentator on a major network is a disgrace to the sport. HBO should put somebody who actually knows boxing - like former journalists Al Bernstein or Steve Farhood - in this role. Someone who is seasoned, qualifed and has paid their dues.

I do however agree that commentators such as Bernstein and Farhood are better, much better in fact. I'd say someone like Colonel Bob Sheridan also deserves it much more, yet they're all very much in work.

Someone who has not been on for quite some time whom I enjoyed listening to was Bobby Czyz, anyone know what happened to him? I do remember he was in some freak accident?

Max said Zab Judah was whitaker with mike tyson's punch and than said the Klitschko brothers would never be champions, this was about 14 years ago. That says it all about this idiot.

 

Ignoring the racism in this statement saying that a guy named Max Kellermen is "probably" a Jew is like saying a guy named Kenji Muhammad Akmed is probably middle eastern.

 

Instead of being mad at Max you should be mad that boxers don't get paid enough you hatin ass mother****er.
