IMO Wilder will do good against the stiffer european-like fighters but will be beaten by the slicker types. How ironic. The fans all call him chinny and want to see him get hit. This way nobody questions why he is getting outboxed. In reality the easiest way haters think he can lose is the only reason he is winning. I wouldnt be suprised if the "Wilder is chinny" myth was perpetuated by WIlder's team in order to keep him from fighting guys who dont come at him. TLDR: Wilder has great power and a great chin (statistical fact). But he is a very bad technically skilled boxer, who will be exposed by skill, not by being outgunned or out muscled.
He has an awfull chin...he does a very good job at hiding the fact he is hurt... If you have a good eye you can see him stiffen up as his legs no longer can support him and he remains stationary. It happened against Spilka...if it were a big heavyweight in with him all it would take is a slight push and he'd fall over. He doesn't get confused when hurt he just completely losses strength in his legs...I don't expect to see him get KO'd flat out anytime soon but he will get TKO'd through multiple knockdowns. Fury would knock him down 3 times guaranteed....
He was KO'd brutally in sparring when Wlad and Haye were both only punching at 60% power. Wlad had to let him go as a sparring partner because of his weak mandible. I recall he was knocked out flat by a jab, not even full powered. The man has no chin. None whatsoever. He pays the WBC off though, so they let him feast off powder puff punching bums. The good thing though is that it gives Americans with IQ's of less than 80 a reason to get excited about the HW's. The WBC knows how to please their casual audience in the states
