damn hes already got a excuse and everything, Mir's got this W.

not discrediting the injury but it will make accepting defeat that much easier.

    Waaaaar cro cooooooop!

  6. i've not seen enough of cro cop to know if he's always very relaxed like he seems to be now, with his fights in the past. he's my favourite fighter and unfortunately i wasn't into mma when he was at his peak.

the things he's saying and his body language doesn't fill me with confidence regarding this fight. i think a lot of people hope he does win, i don't know if thats because they like cro cop or that they hate mir?
i really believe that we'd all love to see cro cop knock mir out with a left kick to the head, just for old times sake. sadly i don't think he will win to be honest, i just really hope he doesn't embarrass himself and gets knocked out quickly in the first round.

I don't see Mir KOing CC but I've seen stranger.......

Anyway sounds like Mirko is doing this for the paycheck. Who am I to judge why he fights I always loved watching CC fight and has always been one of my favorites so I hope he KOs Mir but I think Mir may get and armbar or something to tap out CC.

  8. i'm surprised mirko doesn't go down to light-heavyweight. it would probably get him keen on fighting again and he'd have some really great match-ups too.

Some guys probably don't want to do the cut. Tito and Forrest are about 220-225 on fight night. CC would have to burn off muscle though cos cutting from 227 would be hard. I'd be interested in seeing it.

fighters fighting hurt is a fraud against the fans. while many fans admire the toughness displayed when you fight hurt, it's still cheating the paying customers of seeing two healthy skilled athletes compete in the most primal of sports.

CC's been a heavyweight his entire career. Making 205 now would be plain stupid.

Fighters like Fedor, CC, Mir etc would be foolish to drop down at this stage. I really hope CC could make one deep run and win a belt before he retires. Probably won't happen

I trust CC was well paid for this fight,as it may have been his last.I also agree that being injured, even slightly ,is inheritly wrong to engage in such a dangerous sport as the UFC.It was a bad call from the UFC and the fight was indicative the way CC fought.
