Of course he wants to fight Haye in his continued desperation to avoid A-Force.

 

If Wlad were undisputed Heavyweight Champ, then there would be no need for him to call out anyone. Since there are like 3 or four guys who call can themselves Heavyweight champ, calling out is okay.

 

Well, you just mentioned two guys, so that in itself suffices to prove the point. But there's also Haye.

 

Wlad HAS taken on all comers. He's KO'd everyone they've put in front of him. He can go on defending his titles against the Sosnowski's of the world like the ABC organizations would rather him do... or he can call out the only real challenger whom everyone can universally agree is the only threat besides Vitali, who he'll never fight.

Also, Wlad calling out Haye adds a little more hype to the fight, which is good for the Heavyweight division as well as boxing as a whole.

 

I've never heard Wlad mention Harrison.

Or Tye Fields.

Nothing wrong with it in my opinion. Lewis called out Tyson, Mosley called out Mayweather and there are endless examples. Haye is the one that started this and the videos proving it are out there easily found so Wladimir wants to make it happen. The division is hungry for a mega fight and this is the only one possible. I hope Haye is only playing the wait game to make it bigger.
