(According to MMA junkie) Well, I guess it's not that big of a surprise..but Fedor taking this fight after Choi just got the **** kicked out of him in K1. I think it's time to stick a fork in Fedor... I don't think he's interested in fighting top guys anymore....really what do you think will happen in this fight??...it's a matter of time until Fedor get's him off his feet and then it's all over for the big man. The guy has only 1 friggin MMA fight...oh well maybe Fedor will face a contender in 08
And who would that be he could/should fight, who is not beeing raped in the ass by Dana White? He keeps calling our Couture in no uncertain terms? I think you should direct your anger and frustration elsewhere.
They got Choi, obviously they have a relationship with K-1. There you have Kharitonov or Overeem. Josh Barnett is still unsigned. Jeff Monson is out there. Any of these are far more legitimate fights than this.
Even Pedro Rizzo is out there....And Randy is under contract still....and Fedor knows that ...so calling him out was useless....and direct my anger where? Is this all Dana's fault? If he would have come to UFC he would have been involved in one of the biggest fights in MMA history.. and he would have made lot's of money with more endorsements and getting a ppv percentage cut...not to mention more western exposure..so the sky would have been the limit. The fight was there waiting to happen.. instead he does this.....a freak show fight....Is it really that much better in m1 than the UFC.....don't be surprised if they go tit's up....people don't want to see Fedor fight cans ....just because he is Fedor
When people realize what a huge money scam this whole M-1 global deal is, they will be kicking themselves for defending it.
While I like seeing freak fighters get beaten up, I prefer when it's not one of the best in the world having to do it. Such a waste.
I think Fedor would want to make it last a little while...he doesn't want to dissapoint the fans too much
