Completely different in your mind only, bald head.

Hatton was the champ at 140lb. In his only outing at 147lbs, Hatton looked very beatable against Collazo.

And DLH, he was 2-2 in his previous 4 fights before his bout with Floyd...this is including his bogus win over Felix Sturm. In most observers eyes, he was actually 1-3 with his only victory against Ricardo Mayorga leading up to the PBF fight. At his best? I don't think so.

like I said, can't have it both ways, bro!!

They won't see the light until Arum let's those boys get put on their asses. Too bad Arum won't let the fights get made.

Everyone is excited about SSM vs FLoyd. No one is saying this is NOT a step in the right direction for Floyd b/c its a true challenge. Even though Shane is past his prime it still doesn't mean he's not a threat! Look at Nard and the respect that Joe got for beating him. ....Yea....he's past his best but by large for Joe...Nard was his biggest win even though Nard was 147 yrs old.

Shane is still a problem at 147 and floyd is getting props for taking this fight. If PAC faught Shane he'd get mad props too! But of course some will say that Shane was past his prime....just like they said AFTERWARDS....that Cotto was shot, weight drained or still suffering from the post tramatic effects from his loss to Marg.

Everyone PAC has beaten has an excuse to rationalize WHY he won. Floyd has the same problem....>Both men are at the top of the sport so that kind of unfair ciritsim comes with the territory. But this isn't a case where "POOR Ol FLOYD" is getting unfair treatment.....PAC gets the same treatment. Men in their position EXPECT these kinds of dumb ass comments about their choice of opponents and why they win against them b/c there is nothing they can do to prevent it from taking place. They just roll wit it.

And boxing fans will always use the term "if" when speaking of Floyd Mayweather Jr, because he never made the fights the public truly demanded.

Baldomir was 43-9-6...are you kidding me? how much revenue did that fight generate? How much public interest was there, truthfully?

The only fights that came close were his fights with DLH and Hatton. PBF received fighter of the year honors as a result. You would think Floyd would have taken the hint. Nope, he comes back with a mismatch like JMM and avoids the fight the public truly demands.

I said the Hatton win was crap. You were the one talking about making fights the "media" wanted to see. The media wanted to see Mayweather/Hatton. Look at the PPV numbers. Hatton got his clock cleaned and was never the same.

Are you really going nonchalanty say 2-2? Say the names! Say them! The wins Felix Sturm who went on to 14-1 and regained a belt. Luis Campas, meh... Now let's talk the losses... Bernard Hopkins a literal living legend. Shane Mosley who ADMITTED taking roids. Again, you frame history in a skewed perspective.

Like I said, Manny does not get the same credit Mayweather does for beating Hatton and De La Hoya. The only people who give him credit are people who don't know anything about boxing.

OMG...this has nothing to do with Arum and his "fighters".

Again, if Floyd really wanted the fight to be made, he would have made the fight happen. If Pac is using drugs, who gives a ****!!

A huge fight like this against a smaller fighter will never happen again. If Floyd truly feels that Pac would be an easy fight, then he should be kissing Pac's drug dealer's ass for giving him the biggest money fight of his career against a smaller and supposedly lesser opponent.

Everyone is way ahead of themselves here. You all assume that Mayweather-Mosley is really going to happen.
It's not. Not only will Floyd not fight Mosely, he won't fight Williams or Cotto either.
Just wait, the announcement will come soon...Mayweather-Malinaggi.

Hatton and DLH are his most credible victories, and the numbers prove that...I've already stated that. He won fighter of the year honors for it as well. i've already given Floyd credit for those victories.

Unfortunately, Floyd fans don't ever give the same credit to Pac for beating the same opponents, even though Pac is a fighter who started his career at 106lbs!!

Again, for the last time...can't have it both ways, baldy!!

He isn't the one killing the fights. Arum is. None of his guys can make fights with Mayweather because Mayweather LEFT Top Rank. Margarito looked like crap against Clottey and LOST to Paul Williams. Mosley ducked.

    Mosley called out...

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E42BlsGNFLc[/ame]

Mosley needs his teeth fixed and a vacation... 2:30

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lc9Kd955co[/ame]

Baldomir was supposedly being ducked at the time. Look at Brian Kenny's demeanor! How much revenue? It set up the fight for DLH! It showed FMJ was a PPV powerhouse.

Come off of it. JMM was a tune up AND JMM called Mayweather out. Who has he ducked? Who? You can't say. When you do say you show yourself to be repeating that same tired line from Bob Arum.

I appreciate the time it took to type this analysis; unfortunately, i don't agree with it, and more unfortunately, we'll never know what would have happened because Floyd will never make these fights happen.

That is something we can both agree on!!:deal

Yes it does. This again shows you know crap about boxing.

Who gives a crap? Again, this illustrates you are a clown who knows nothing of boxing. You obviously don't box and have zero understanding of what the spirit of competition is. If you did you would know why such a statement is absurd.

Who cares if it doesn't. I only care that history remembers it for what it was. Manny being a cheating duck. :deal
