It is laughable when Bute fans tries to discredit Andre Ward.

    I am not a fan of Ward (just yet), but i have mad respect for him.
    I can't really see how Bute's fan boys can point fingers at Andre Ward, Ward has beaten the two most proven SMWs out there (Froch and Kessler), which is enough to make him the man in the division. Ward easily beat all his comp inside the S6 which as already mentioned featured Froch and Kessler.
    Ward is 28 years old, Bute is 32..
    Ward has 5 world title fights, Bute has 10.
    In the last 2,5 years of Ward's career, he has easily done more than what Bute has done in his entire career.. How many fighters in the history of the SMW division has done more than Andre Ward in such a short period of time?
    Bute has not done anything that gives his fan boys right to bash on Ward..
    And no, i am not a Bute hater.

    Imagine if Ward was the guy not invited in the Supersix and tell me opponent's names he would met during more than 2 years.

    I have made a thread here that explains my view on Bute (i believe that it is made before the Froch fight was signed).
    I am not a Bute hater, and i agree.. If Ward was left out of the tourney he wouldn't have been where he is now. The S6 tournament is also a reason why Bute couldn't fight the biggest names, so i am not putting all the blame on Bute and his management for not having fought the best (yet)..
    I am just saying that Bute has nothing on Ward

    im no ward fan, ive been a bute fan since before the super 6

    i dont hate ward and appreciate his skills but i want him and Bute to fight but ward doesnt seem interested

    less than 2 years, and if we look at the names: Joppy ( spring 2008, Andrade ( mandatory fall 2008) Zuniga ( spring 2009), it's legit and decent.

    Most people don't really discredit Ward.. They just say it seems as though he might not want the Bute fight or wants to put it off as long as possible and people want to see this fight! The harshest I've heard people be on Ward is that he nearly always fights in his home city, but Bute has done that too so that probably wasn't Bute fans saying that.

    ...as a brit and who is proud of our sucess in this division. Ward impresses the **** out of me the guy is SO SO good and yet humble and you cannot discredit this guy, just admire and his there with Calzaghe already. I would say Jones Jnr, but the roids play on my mind. Bute however i'm going to use Froch as a measuring stick, cos his level of comp in comparison blows!!

    Bute's fans are pissed at Ward just because Ward is blatantly ducking Bute and saying a whole bunch of bs stuff about it.

    The fact that Ward is a stay at home boring fighter who Bika said would loose against Bute does not really weigh in the reason why we don't like him.

    I think after having a war with Froch the fight will be made and to be honest as an outsider would think that to be fair given the comp that Ward has had and the fact Bute should get to fight the winner of the S6 is bull ****, he should of been in the tourney to start with and not fight b level fighters.Ridiculous!!!
