It is laughable when Bute fans tries to discredit Andre Ward.

    Ward faced and beat much better fighters!!! If Bute beats Froch they should fight, but nothing wrong with Ward not fighting him straight after Super Six tournament.

    then why did he said the winner of Super6 should meet Bute before the final and after he won he said Bute isn't worthy?why did he ask Bute to fight an A level fighter and after Bute signed the deal with Froch he ***** about it?maybe he was hoping Froch will duck Bute as Kessler did,leaving Bute without the "A" level fighter Ward was demanding so he can blame Bute the fight isn't made?Why doesn't he own a passport...just answer this question,why did everyone had to travel in super6 and Ward didn't?and why did he fought guys like Green and Bika when Froch had to fight Kessler and Abraham?and why you,as a boxing fan don't want the best fight out there made?you are the moron here,bruh

    Indeed, Kessler would sell more tickets than Ward in Oakland ! :yep:lol:

    I wonder if Ward would have a pair of balls and take his WBC mandatory ( Anthony Dirrell ) how much tickets would they sell in that fight ?! :D

    First off all if Bute beats Froch fight should happen for sure, he did fight home and i will not say it was fair at all i dont know if Kessler was forced to fight there or money was better, but he did not have a close fight like Froch vs Dirrell and Froch got a gift there, that was the only hometown decision in that tournament.

    @chitownfightfan "Now, if DG and Ward make the fight with Bute next or after Magee/Td2 it'll have been a genius $$$$ move......

    You can't compare the judging from Froch vs Dirrell fight with the judging from Kessler vs Ward fight ! The judging from Kessler vs Ward fight was more biased because the referee didn't sanction those brutal headbutts received by kessler !

    Froch vs Dirrell fight was a close fight and the decision was given to the hometown fighter which was Froch ! :D

    For the sake of precision, Ward has faced 2 (two) fighters arguably better than Bute's opponents, that is Kessler and Froch.
    Ward had the opportunity to face them because he was invited to participate in the S6 competition, even if his best and only meaningful win before the tournament has been against E. Miranda.
    Bute has not been invited to S6 for extra-curricular reasons and was in the contractual impossibility to fight any of these two while involved in S6. After calling himself out of the tournament and then returning to boxing, Kessler has been called for a fight by Bute, but his team refuted the offer for allegedly money-related reasons and did not come back with a counter-offer. After the end of S6, Bute and Froch finally reached an agreement for making a fight (at least) and has the opportunity to match one of Ward's biggest wins (the other one is on a defection course to LHW and very unlikely to be available in the next future).
    So basically there is little point in overrating the importance of this incidental opposition schedule difference having its origins in the U.S.-based TV ratings and lobby influenced choice of the participants to S6. As long as Ward and his fans will try to present his participation to S6 and consequent fights with Kessler and Froch as a highly deserved figure of merit, eventually with respect to Bute (who has not faced yet any of them for reasons beyond his realistic possibilities of influence), there will be people pointing out that they are exaggerating. That's all.

    That's right. There's nothing wrong with that in itself, Ward had all his reasons to want an easier fight (?) just after the tournament. However, it was wrong for Ward to claim that
    1. Bute has to face a so-called A-level fighter before being awarded the right of fighting him (after all, which A-level fighter had faced Ward before getting in the ring with Kessler?!) after having agreed before S6 ended that the eventual winner's most meaningful fight should have been the very same IBF champion;
    2. Bute had the opportunity to join S6 and he refuted it (a plain lie on his twitter account, and I won't even comment the rumors that it was Ward's promoter who most strongly opposed to have Bute in the tournament as a first-class substitute);
    3. Bute-Froch rematch clause was "disappointing" since he (Ward) was allegedly still under some kind of negotiating with Interbox a Bute match.
    These facts are disturbing: they don't affect Ward's image as the great fighter he is but they leave a sour taste about how he decided to discredit his only meaningful future SMW opponent.

    Hopefully in the future we will see less declarations and more fights.
