The biggest problem in my view is not the bias aspect, we all are bias in some way. The problem in this and I saw it in other thread is that black people think that if you criticize a black it's because of his race...

When you go in that kind of talk, every arguments, every opinion, every facts, etc. fail because your a racist.

From what I've seen Bute fans simply react to what Ward and his fans say about Bute and they generally point out that Ward is not the righteous guy his fans say he is. I guess some might find it laughable but I can't see why... :huh

I have seen threads from Bute fans completely discrediting any and all of Wards accomplishments, and in the next sentence build Bute up to be an unstoppable force. They make excuses for any of his flaws and explain away any inconsistencies. After witnessing this, I do find it laughable/hypocritical of Bute fans to discredit Ward. I always try to remain as unbiased as possible. I am a Ward fan, and I wish it was Ward fighting Bute instead of Froch. I hate that this might become another May/Pac or Bradley/Khan situation. :-(

So to stay at home is ok because Bute did for whatever reason he did?

Or is it that as a Bute fan, since Bute was perceive as a stay home fighter, we cant have an opinion about that?

    What exactly is your point?

Ok then, it's because you saw "some" Bute's fans that might, in your opinion, exagerate either Ward or Bute, so now all Bute's fans should not talk about Ward, except to lick his ass?

I dont think so, and the fact that you agree with us in this thread show you that maybe some Bute's fans are not that bias as you think.

In fact, in putting everyone in the same basket is laughable.

Remove boxing, is it not hypocritical to criticize someone for the same thing that you do?

How is this point not clear?

Lick ass? Where did that come from? lol Criticize him however you want. All I said is that I agree that it is laughable to criticize Ward for the same things that Bute gets a way with. I am not a Bute hater, btw. Also, its the "some" fans that I am referring to, not all. Where is this basket im putting everyone in?

Playing the race card is very convenient: "Everyone knows ESB is filled with racists, and therefore my favourite boxer may not be critizised in any way of what so ever."

Problem is, this is an Internet message board and debating boxers is what we do here.

    ok I will be clearer.

Since you saw some Bute's fans critize Ward and because some boxing fans did critize Bute of the same thing. All Bute fans should only talk about Ward if it's positive. I think that is a bad way to think. Your opinion and the one from the thread starter are the same and its flawed. The fact that you agree that Ward should fight Bute show it.

So basically you tell us that we should either shut up or lie if Ward is doing something not so great for boxing in general.

You can look at my first post on this thread too if you dont quite get it.

Exactly, and so it means that we should state the opinion we want to speak about, because it's what we do here.

You are completely twisting what I said. lol You are taking that way too far man. Criticize Ward all you want. I'll be clear! I think its funny/laughable/hypocritical for a Bute fan to criticize Ward for the same things that Bute does, and not also criticize Bute. That is my point. If you dont quite get it...

You did say that since Bute go a gift by a ref, all Bute's fans should not made any critic on the fact that the ref in the Ward and Kessler fight give Ward the opportunity to use border line tactics in the ring.

Since it's a fact, why cant Bute's fans cant talk about it?

Well if you find it laughable it means I'm doing something wrong (well you think I do). Well I dont feel this way. Because I think that if Ward is doing something wrong I can talk about it and if Bute is doing something wrong I can talk about it.

In putting every Bute's fans in the same basket, you are doing a mistake (in my view) and that is laughable.

I think that it boils down to this for me. If you do something wrong its ok, if I do something wrong its not ok. That line of thinking regardless of what fighter you are supporting is wrong to me. I find it laughable if fan a can see a problem with fan b's favorite fighter, and not see that same problem in their favorite fighter. I am not putting all Bute fans in 1 basket. Criticize all you want.
