Well, if he wasn't hurt, why was he lying there in the first place? He is quoted in a goosen tudor interview an hour or so after the fight saying he got the wind knocked out of him.

Does anyone really want to see a rematch? (I haven't seen the fight yet)

I know he is. But god damn, have some self-respect. Take one punch and then fly out the ring? And then quit twice without taking your alotted 5 minutes.

I felt something was up though when he told an interviewer after the fight "Doctors don't understand boxing"...like they held him down with a vice grip or something.

'Once the pressure turned up'? What pressure are you talking about? There was no pressure and Cintron was in absolutely no trouble up to the point the fight was stopped.

Also, I don't understand why we should instantly take the doctor's word for it, and not Cintron's. Why should we believe the one over the other? The doctor's word has the same value as Cintron's.

I'm not trying to defend Cintron and I don't really care who's fault it is. Cintron comes off as a confused individual at times when in the ring, anyway. I'm just surprised that people are so easily convinced by what some doctor said and are ready to crucify a fighter because of that.

Well that's Cintron for ya. mentally weak or unstable fighters usually tend to have repeat patterns of the same kind of behavior. Golota and Tyson are two other examples of that.

I feel like I was robbed watching that fight and I caught it on an illegal stream! I can only imagine what people who paid $ for that think.

I believe the doctor. I also do really believe that Kermit did every thing possible to milk that fall. He did absolutely nothing with his hands/arms to keep from going through the ropes and to break the initial fall onto the table.

No rematch. Paul does not have enough of a following, and who wants to see Cintron after this? He's disgusting.

I think people believe the doctor more readily than Cintron is that Cintron has a reported history of blaming things on someone else. Doesn't mean the doctor isn't lying but what would the doctor stand to gain from it?

" Why should we believe the one over the other? The doctor's word has the same value as Cintron's."

    You answered your own question:

"Cintron comes off as a confused individual at times when in the ring, anyway."
