Pavlik started fighting inside, and staying there about round 5. He should've been all over this guy from round 1, and gotten this guy out of here earlier. It's good that Pav got the win, but he gained nothing from this fight. He'd better start fighting better comp.
I disagree... Pavlik got in some rds, showed good inside work & took his time. (impressed with his patience)
I'm all for a fighter getting work, but beating up a no hoper for as long as he did and not dropping him doesn't help. You can hurt yourself doing that. At least Pavlik acknowledged that he knows he has to step up his comp.
He was Kelly Pavlik. The guy had no chance of winning. He was short, had no power, and took punches for 7 rounds. Stopped on a bad cut.
