Ridiculous comment he made. But saying you hope Fury's kids get AIDS is enough to get banned? And is this a permanent ban? sorry I'm kinda new here.
At the very least the #2 (is that Wlad?) and #3 rated contenders will get an interim championship fight. If Fury can't defend the belts by Spring 2017 he needs to be stripped and the interim champion elevated to regular champion.
This is the biggest 'non surprise' in boxing history. Everyone with half a brain new the fight was never going to happen. Fury is a disgrace to boxing and a drug cheat, like his cousin....you think it is a coincidence that they both have fights cancelled in the last few days?. The first thing that should happen is Fury loses his license, then subsequently stripped of his title. He is pure scum.
But he won't fight or scedule a fight now before the end of November, so according to the rules he should get stripped. Indeed, but that's called corruption/favoritism. Look at Guillermo Jones (Panama) for example.
I'm very frustrated by another postponement, to be honest it's probably a full cancellation now and yes something has to be done and not doubt will be but this sounds very serious, love him or loathe him I personally believe Fury's well being is far more important than stripping him of a couple of belts. All I was saying was before people start name calling and maybe making what could be seen as sick and outrageous comments we should all take a little bit of time and wait and see what is actually happening.
Manchester Evening News are reporting his withdrawal is due to mental health issues, many on here said the same thing. It must be very serious when combining that with the statement that was released. I just hope he gets the medical care he needs and his wife, children, family and friends are given privacy and respect by the media. There have been a few high profile boxers in the UK that have openly talked about severe depression, Frank Bruno, Ricky Hatton and Nigel Benn. We have also had really tragic stories like Darren Sutherland so the British boxing fans should support Fury in my opinion regardless if you are fan of his or not.
Truth is he's a terrible role model for a champion anyway, yes I have sympathy for someone with health issues but then again someone with mental health issues shouldn't be going around getting drunk and taking drugs, his words not mine about the drugs.
God no, I rather watch 12 rounds of Fury singing. First fight was bad enough, but now Haye's legs have gone and Wlad who dominated the first fight with the jab, doesn't even have a jab left to throw. You'd have 12 rounds of Haye barely moving while trying to throw punches and Wlad dancing around him not throwing anything.
Strip him. Have others fight it out. Maybe give him emeritus status? If he tests clear of possum for six months let him fight again.
