That fight proved Floyd was the better man that night. All time I have Pac way ahead of Floyd.

 

LMAO! At first glance, I thought you were referring to Roy Jones, since some called him Roid or Royd Jones. Even if there was a legit injury his punch output was no lower than any time he faced counter punchers. I expected an injured fighter to fight hampered, or throwing infrequently. Maybe so, but I grew up in the era where most fighters didn't talk about injuries until long afterwards like Holmes who went 15 rounds with Norton injured...and won! I've seen too many fighters win while hurt for me to give a pass to Pac, but if you do, hey that's cool!

An example of a hurt fighter rotator cuff? IMO was Holyfield vs Toney.
Hurt fighters fighting through it & winning? Gatti breaking his hands every other fight.
Floyd against Castillo I and to this day, he doesn't bring it up as much as Pac brought up his supposed injury. 20 years and he gets an injury in the fight of his life and doesn't postpone, that's his fault, not Floyd's.

I admit it is a shame we never got to see them fight prime. At times I blamed Floyd & suspicious thinking about Pac & PED's, when Floyd fought exclusively out of Vegas, where he can inject that stuff for his hands? But as time passed Pac incriminated himself using several reasons for not testing. Needles, God, religion, just foolish nonsense that he should have kept to himself.
I can only go by facts. Pac has been stopped by bodyshot and put to sleep by JMM.
Floyd hasn't.
Pac has been schooled in a decision, Floyd hasn't.
More fans claim Pac is greater, whereas more fighters, writers & trainers say that about Floyd.
Love Pac, cool with Floyd. Manny is exciting, Floyd used to be exciting. Winning is the goal. Floyd succeeded 20 years, Pac is intermingliend with losses in various ways, not one.

 

Guess we can call these two the fab two. People will argue for years who was the best. Same as whos the best ray or duran
