He'll be back. Were as he doesn't need to break Marciano's record, it will be an added incentive to the bigger incentive of being able to negioate another massive payday. He will also realise that breaking the 49-0 record will add a few more dollars to his paycheque as it will be usued in the build up as something significant that will fool some casual fans. I enjoy watching Floyd fight and i would enjoy a fight between him and Brook, Khan or Thurman, but, i won't miss the build up to his fights. Eveyone was the same and its old now - the same repeated phrases, his yes men telling him what he wants to hear, the cringeworthy circus that is his family and the endless merry-go-round of fights and making up, his insistance on claiming he's blesssed, his referring to himself in the third person and his continous sideways glancing to the camera (David Brent style) everytime he makes a rubbish joke. If you are going to come back, Floyd, then shut up, fight someone better than Berto and then ride of into the sunset...try not to hit another woman.
Seriously... 1. He wouldn't even be back till early May and have his announcement a month earlier. What's there to miss? 2. Not many missed him during his first retirement, doubt many will miss him now. 3. Do you actually want the guy back, knowing he probably will fight an easy target when he does?
I dont miss the ****er at all If he comes back, odds are it'll be to fight another Berto type, while roided to the max under USADA's protection. He won't fight GGG or Pac again under fair conditions so who cares
Yeah because those fights wasn't going to happen if he was still active.. Floyd was holding up a couple MW fights and a flyweight fight on an undercard of a MW fight.. Boxing stands still when Floyd is around...
He has more important things to do like rollerskating in his mansion and making it rain in clubs, let him be. Man has to do his yoga.
