Makes more sense to go with Jones Jr.

Bigger legacy fight, casual fans will see Jones Jr just beat "OMG TITO TRINIDAD" in a fight and forget his previous losses.

It's just crusty forum dogs who think Jones Jr is shot.

 

It would make more money because Jones would come to Cardiff in front of 50,000. Pavlik would insist on fighting in the USA. The fight would be at 3 am in Cardiff, but hey, who cares? I'm also not holding my breath until the contract is signed.

pavlik would do 50,000 at 3 am 70,000 at 9pm.

Bute's starting his rehabilitation this week, apparently. He needs to work on that knee for a couple of weeks before he can start training as usual. Next is Andrade in autumn - a hard test. We'll see.

Hope this fight is on, Calzaghe is on the decline and would struggle to beat pav in 09(2nd half).

 

Andrade will win, but that doesn't mean it's over for Bute, Andrade's a really hard fight for most at SMW, probably a few at LHW and I can't pick any current MW over Andrade. Good fighter, even if sloppy-ish.

 

Moot point, lacks 1 punch KO power, grinds guys down. How do people not ****ing realise this?

I'd even go as far as saying Kessler hits as hard or harder. And Calzaghe won't outbox, he'll swarm him, Pavlik's a poor inside fighter. Pavlik gets slapped into submission and TKO'd.

 

HMMM, let me think on that one. Probably not, but maybe.
