To think that Mayweather earns millions a fight when he won't take the biggest challenges out there, and then you watch that prizefighter on Sky Sports and see 8 blokes fighting their arses off for 25 grand (which is a huge amount compared to what they would normally get).

Obviously the gulf in class and ability is huge, but everything seems wrong in boxing today.

So do you think he's beaten the best welterweights in the world?

Beating a blown up Ricky Hatton (who is hugely overrated IMO) doesn't count.

I think he's a fantastic fighter and easily the P4P greatest in the world, but I'd like to see him work for his money.

I happened to tune into Prizefighter and watched it for about 10 seconds before turning it off. During that brief spell I witnessed two fat geezers hugging and rabbit punching. 25k obviously provided sufficient motivation for these chaps so let them get on with it I say.

Floyd should fight Cotto I agree but he gets paid big money because he is the best. I certainly who I'd rather watch.

The only person he's missed worth noting is Cotto and that could still happen. Theres no point critisising the best fighter in the sport who also happens to have the best resume'.

Dude I have his career ( upto Gatti ) on DVD I will loan you it if you like,

Floyd is an arsehole no question but he has torched name after name and ,apart from Castillo the first time round , no-one has come close to beating him. Its concievable he could retire without really ever having been pushed. You can't blame him for starting young , training really hard and being really ****ing good !

I guarentee those 8 fighters put together do not train as hard as Mayweather does. Mayweather may have natural talent but he has also worked bloody hard to get to wear he is. He is a natural Lightweight that has won a title at Light Middle and your trying to call him a coward???

I dont see Cotto calling Mayweather out either??? and do you reckon if rogen and Dolan had the choise of fighting De La Hoya for 15mil or Margorito for 8mil they would pick Marg????

You could also argue that its wrong to have a man have to fight & beat three opponents in a single night to win a £25000 cheque. Entertaining, but highly dangerous to the fighters who took part in the event.

As for Mayweather ducking big challenges? Im not going to even answer that one. OK, on second thoughts I will. Floyd would fight Cotto in a heartbeat, but he has a beef with Arum. So the fight will never happen.
    Get over it.

you are jokeing right, the guy has beaten more world class fighters than any other fighter other right now and has had a better career than any fighter to ever come out of the UK in the history of boxing.

True, he took on Judah after he lost to Baldomir and fought the limited Baldomir and Hatton was horibbly overrated.

He's the champ but still not cleaned up there.

The Judah fight had already been signed.
