It' s hard to rate Wilder when it comes to ATG rankings but I think he is at least A-level.

Wilder and Joshua would have had him out of there if they were punching him instead of Bowe. Fury would have outscored him even wider than Lewis did. Usyk would give him a boxing lesson.

Wilder has proved his a great knock out artist and powerful fighter, but no ones going to appreciate him until after he retires. I think he needs to fight whyte, Joshua, and parker and cement his legacy.

Unfortunately Wilder is not undisputed. My A list consists of undisputed champions only.

He is certainly not a top 20 HW ever nor close, if that's what you were thinking. Skill wise, so much lower. He kinda sucks. Just big height and reach with monster power.

Can't say I agree, but understand your perspective. Sometimes we use a certain fight in a fighter's career to make our points as mentioned -which-version of Mercer would beat Wilder as opposed to Mercer at any point in his career.
So we can't be certain Wilder would've faced the Mercer that gave hell to Lewis OR..The Mercer that got outboxed by a un-retired Holmes.
Often times we justify our favorite's weaknesses.
Mercer vs Morrison, (Wilder has a tough fight IMO depending on (which) version of Mercer shows up. We do know he had a chin, power to beat Wilder. Morrison outboxes him until he gets 1 punch to the chin.) Wilder over Morrison at any point of Tommy's career.

Holyfield vs Tyson, Holy overall had just enough of everything to beat him as in chin, power, offense, defense & will. Young prime or decline.
Tyson on the other hand, had a short prime based on what he did in the 1st 4 rounds, after that his teeny-tiny heart caves in...after 8 rounds with Ruddock Tyson threw so many lowblows out of frustration, at times he was hitting him on the hips. How many points did they deduct from Tyson? A lot! So his skill level over Wilder gets compromised by his inability to deal with adversity. I can see Wilder winning by DQ over a quitter of a Tyson.

    Bowe vs Holyfield.
Bowe I think beats him, but again we're talking a certain part of his career. These HW's mentioned don't have a consistent level of performance like a PBF or Bhop. Those 2 were dangerous their whole careers, not just prime.
Bowe pre-Holy has too much skill, height, will, power, chin to compromise Wilder. But the Bowe that fought after 3 Holy fights IMO gets dropped by Wilder only to get up again and again and..so I can see Wilder again winner and losing to a fighter like Riddick.

Lewis -again another HW that proved regardless of skill & power he could lose in his PRIME. How does McCall & Rahman drop Lennox, but not Wilder?
Meaning regardless of Lennox vast amount of skill, power & reach, one punch as a HW changes everything. So I have to say Lennox would win and lose against Wilder during his youth, prime or decline as he lost his 2 fights during his prime.

Wilder can retire as a potential ATG by doing what he is doing. Greats don't always win with skill. When their prime declines ATG (finds) ways to win. That is what Wilder does, regardless of a lack of skill, unproven chin, he finds a way to outlast, wilt, & out endure. IMO that is a sound definition of an ATG.

Any one of these names would be Wilder's best win.

Wilder might book A- vs grade C to B- completion, but if you watch things he struggles, and is bailed out because he's not fighting top ten Ring Magazine opponents in their primes! That and BS juding in the Fury fight. The top ten now is not as good as it was in the 1990's

Ortiz was old. Over 40 likely. Brezeale wasn't;t in the top ten, and would be top 20 in the 1990's. As Hrgovic said on Wilder's opponent. He was fat. He was slow. That's why Wilder beat him so quickly.

Sorry, I know I shouldn’t disrespect the 5’7, 180 pound heavyweight legends who fought 92 rounds, stumbled around off balance, and wrestled constantly. They were the greatest for sure. No fighter today could wrestle every week and run every day. They just don’t make them like they used to.

Mate it's not even the best division in the last 35 years. Don't give us that old school bollocks.
Bowe, Holyfield, Tyson, Morrison, Mercer and Lewis shite and wipe there ass with this division
The 80s Tyson, Holmes, Page and Shavers and Berbick run through almost everyone today
Wlad, Byrd, Peter, Ibragimov and Vitali are all better than Most today
And let's not even start with the 70s...

I just watched Tyson v Lewis. I know they were both past their best but good lord, they were both absolutely rubbish. Lewis at his best wouldn’t be champ today. Morrison and Mercer are Parker/Whyte level. Bowe is a nothing fighter, never fought anyone other than Cruiser Holyfield. Cruiser Holyfield also landed with ease on Lewis, lucky it was a cruiserweight who can’t punch. The heavyweight division was garbage until the Soviet fighters were allowed to enter. Green Vitali was chopping up Lewis, forced him to retire. Don’t even talk about bums like Byrd and Peter.

Its not hard to rank Wilder in the ATG rankings. He dont belong there. Its as simple as that. He has started way way way too late to start fighting good names to have his title defenses or knock out ratio count for much. Dont get me wrong, he is here now and he has already proven he belongs at the top im not questioning that at all. But his resume is seriously lacking and rematching the 2 only decent names on it isnt really doing much more for him in any ATG debates.

Even though im loving this Heavyweight era im loving it cuz its exciting cuz its competitive. But just cuz its competitive that doesnt mean we are being served real high quality elite level Boxing. Skills wise this is far from a great era. All the top guys are heavily flawed one way or another.

    Oh my ****ing lord
What the ****? Watch what he did to Micheal Grant, Golota (who's better than Joshua, Parker and Martin) and Ruddock (who in his prime would represent a better win than anyone in the division not called Ruiz has)
He'd bomb Wilder out in 2, strategically due to his power
He'd out jab and walk Fury down, his better footwork would be Fury's downfall
He'd completely Toy with Joshua and Ruiz would look like the Tua fight
    Mercer > Parker
    Morrison > Whyte
And Whyte's one of my favourite fighters
Cruiser Holyfield is a pfp and HW ATG and would keep every HW fighting today on a leash. And Bowe handled him twice. Bowe is a nothing fighter? ****ing hell hate to hear what you say about Wilder.
Bowe KOs every one today except Parker and Ruiz, and I still think he beats them both
I repeat, an ATG at HW and PFP.
And if he can't punch why did he have Mercer, Bowe and Douglas in serious trouble? All have tested chins and all were dropped by Evan, he landed on Lewis because his style as an agressive counter puncher let him against Lewis's long jab
    Vitali wasn't green...
Byrd has a better résumé than anyone today...
Peter dropping a prime Wlad 3 times is a better achievements than Wilder, Fury and Ruiz have

I’m completely wrong sorry, Corrie Sanders, Hasim Rahman, McCall, Byrd, Mercer, Morrison are all obviously elite.
Joshua, Wilder, Fury, Ruiz are clearly bums compared to them. No way could they handle 6’1/2 orthodox boxers who never beat anyone like Mercer and Morrison. Razor Ruddock, Samuel Peters? Michael Grant and Golota?
I mean there are rose tinted glasses but then there’s you. YDKSAB. You should be banned, you obviously don’t follow or understand boxing at all. You even said that you based your criteria for judging old timers by their boxrec list. And of course since they’re fighting ancient boxers that means that they beat a list of killers that could never exist today.
You’re the most pathetic kind of boxing fan there is, you should be following wrestling for the history and name worship. This is a sport, try to learn it.

All of these can beat Wilder and Joshua on a given night, some would even be favoured
    I never said that...
What would I have Rose tinted glasses for? I'm 15 i have no nostalgia for these guys I just know that in comparison they **** over today's division
Man said that IDKSAB after he said
Over Joe Gans and Stanley Ketchel...
And I'm the one that needs banning? Mate reign it in your embarrassing yourself
    Not 'old timers', everyone
And the old school fighters with there higher activity rate and lower pay naturally end up higher
Why the **** would i do that? Boxing has a richer history than any other sport. If you knew any of it you'd appreciate that.
    You first.
See now you say this, yet I've had 3 times the likes in a third of the messages. And I can back up what I'm saying with facts and knowledge without changing the subject and launching personal attacks, can you?
