wow ! i guess i can understand everyone's frustration and disappointment... But i've rarely seen anything like it.

I'm not talking about esb's mma section...but there's tons of "fedor" threads poping all the time on sherdog...most of which , are anti-M1 / fedor / Vadim.

You know , personally speaking ...i have to admit that it's a frustrating situation...But i'm not hating on the guy.

I don't know if Vadim or Fedor himself are aware of this...But right now , they're dealing with a very risky career move...Refusing the ufc is one thing...but they better ****ing hope never to lose a single fight or else both will instantly go to the shitter...

I get the feeling that Fed will instantly be labeled as the most overrated in the sport's history if he makes a tiny mistake in his next , or 2nd or 3rd fight. (until his M1 global contract is up)..

As long as he isn't fighting in the ufc...he'll have tons of pressure and naysayers just waiting like vultures...Many want to see this guy's career crash and burn. I've rarely seen so much hate on a fighter. Damn !

The whole prob is the way his M1 contract is because he signs with M1 an org who has to find another org that has fighters, so he needs two different org's to do business with which makes it difficult.

I'm not hoping for him to crash and burn, it is just frustrating and people are beginning to realize that this one is more than likely not dana's fault. Dana seems to have honestly tried his damndest to make this contract happen and bring mma's biggest heavyweight to mma's biggest and best org. i honestly believe than the money and terms dana white offered fedor and vadim fecalstain were far and away the best contract he has ever even been close to and by far tons more than he could make anywhere else in the world. All this together makes the backlash that is appearing against fecalstain mostly but some directed towards fedor completely understandable to me.

It just seems there is absolutely no logic behind what he is doing at all, its not like you can say "oh he's doing it for the money" or "oh he just want's easy fights" because the money is better at the UFC, and I don't think he wants easy fights.

I think he is just isn't seeing how absolutely stupid his managers demands are, and how much stands to gain by singing compared to not signing.

There is absolutely no benefit for his career not to sign.

At the end of the day, its the fighters choice. This has happened too many times in Boxing..Pacquaio GBP/Top Rank squabble comes to mind and it has been resolved. Fedor should split his contract from the UFC with M1. The truth of the matter is, the UFC will make M1 the most money even w/o co-promoting.

Last time M1 co promoted with Affliction, they got barely 300k buys and an irrelevant gate gross. Where the **** is their leverage? they have 1 fighter FFS.

He would of lost to Brock and then have a rebound fight against Kongo. Ending in the same
    fashion as Cro Cop.

Why? Cos me may never of fought Brock Lesnar or an old old Randy Coture. Get real.

Let the sherdoggers and others all cry just cos Fedor wont do what they want. Its pathetic how emotional people are getting. Fedor does what is best for him not what is best for some fans posting on MMA boards.

exactly, i don't see where they are going to go now. Affliction had poor numbers with him, The NYE event against HMC did poorly and bo-dog was a disater.

It will be interesting to see where they go.

I heard theyre in a quagmire trying to trace Josh Barnetts samurai roots.

At the end of the day, I really don't think Fedor cares what people think. When you see him in interviews he's very calm, reserved and comfortable with whatever decision he makes.

Which only adds to fans frustration. Most think he should do whatever it takes to make a deal with the UFC happen. So, if that means leaving M-1 then so be it. Why wouldn't he want to be part of the biggest MMA organization in world?

But, Fedor just doesn't to seem to think that way. So we're all left pissed and disappointed.
    Bummer.

i wish fedor would have signed with ufc and fought the likes of brock,mir,couture,kongo,carwin..ect...,but i will watch him on strikeforce fight overeem, rogers, werdum, and maybe just maybe a rematch with arlovski
