It seems like Hatton is the one who is over-confident

I've been noticing this in various articles and interviews about the fight.

While they both seem confident, and in-fact (of course), many think PBF is OVERconfident - I feel that Hatton actually is expecting to win and is beginning to think he is gonna walk right thru him. I don't think it's the typical pre-fight smack talk, either. I think Hatton has himself believing that PBF hasn't prepared properly, and envisions himself blasting hooks to the body while PBF is trapped on the ropes.

I am picking PBF by UD, but I have a feeling it could end up in a TKO if Hatton, in his overconfidence, takes too many chances going forward.

What is he supposed to say? "It will be a close fight, I might lose"

I'm glad he's very confident, and I'd be very worried if he wasn't

He weighed-in at 145, which goes to show he has come in tonight focused and anything but over confident.

Yeah Hatton is over confident.. He thinks he's just gonna run in on Mayweather and not get hurt.. He thinks Mayweather doesn't have any power but he'll be in for a rude awakening tonight! Mark my words

You're right, and I agree. I'd be wondering why someone is boxing at all if they didn't think they could win.

It's just a sense that I got from him, that's all. It's like he doesn't think PBF is going to be too difficult at all.

I think he and his team know it will be a hard fight. To me, it's just talk when Hatton says that stuff, and I don't invest much into it. Similar to when Mayweather said he was going to "brutalize" Oscar.

Hatton is completely underestimating Floyd's strength, toughness, and heart in the ring. I've felt this way for a long time now.

Hatton is in for a rude awakening tonight.

They both seem very confident....only difference is Hatton has said on more than one occasion that Floyd is one hell of a good fighter, and respects him accordingly. Floyd on the other hand hasnt shown an ounce of respect for what Hatton brings to the table. This might not be his undoing, but i for one think he's in for a harder nights work then he's possibly ever had
