    I'm not going to compare this Mayweather to the Gatti Mayweather, but didn't he fight Canelo a few years ago? Mayweather looked prime-like against him. One of his best performances.

    Mayweather landed more than half his punches against Maidana in their rematch, which is typical for him. Mayweather missed a ton of punches against Pacquiao, but Pacquiao is an ATG and has better defense than he's given credit for.

    He's not prime, but he's not way past it.

    How are punch stats an indicator of a fighter's prime? Just watch the performances he is clearly way past prime the man is almost 40. He's far from the fighter he was in '07 or '09 let alone before 2000. Just because he's still extremely accurate and always wins doesn't mean he's not way past it. He's just that skilled.
