It seems the DATE is now the main issue for PAC-Floyd fight

You idiot, the first time they negotiated team pac requested for the use of 8 oz gloves and floyd agreed. Floyd also agreed to a $1 million penalty per pound that you exceed the 147 weight limit. And lastly, I believe it was team pac that wanted the MGM grand to be used as the venue for the fight. MGM Grand wasnt a problem then and the possibility of an outdoor stadium didnt exist then until now. Obvious duck by team pac. Seriously, just admit that pac and his team are putting a lot of roadblocks for not making the fight happen.

 

I never heard so much shite than come from the the *****s, any & every excuse will do to avoid Pacquiao, tests/vacation/no urge/no negotiations took place & now there bitching about a few weeks after 2 years of ducking, ****in pathetic.

As we & the whole world of boxing knows, Floyds ducked manny for years. From a bizzness perspective this is & has always been his way as it makes sence for Floyd to cherrypick all his opposition with the blessing of HBO as he can keep sucking up $30MILLION+ against selected opponants for the next 5 years. Why risk all the marbles on a 50/50 fight & once they saw that Pac could take a 147LB punch they bugged out rapid.

It's a bizzness after all & thats what floydie keeps telling everyone, legacy don't pay the bills, he'll slip wriggle squirm & tweet all he wants & he don't give a ****, he'll not fight Pacquiao & if pac even agree's to May 5th you can bet yer house that Floyd will demand something else to scupper the show.

As Floyd said, "If it don't make $$$$ it don't make sense" so why is he not up for another cool $15MILLION+ seeing he's all about the $$$$ & if he's that confident he'll win whats the problem??? there fighting in the ring, inside/outside who ****in cares!!!

I don't see how this would sell so much better on Cinco de Mayo considering Pac's not Mexican.

I don't care about the date but floyd should accept it, i voted for the may 26 but half thinking it may be a bluff just to duck. I say call it, if thats just the issue its no big deal. I don't know why may 5 is so ****ing important, and most of you people are voting for it while some of us just want to see the fight. I've followed the news ever since day 1 and I know my history and this wasnt a roadblock before and now it is? And to say that it was their intention to build an outdoor stadium? Never ever heard of that, because the venue discussed was MGM Grand. Face it, its very obvious that Pac and his team can agree to May 5, yet you guys are giving reasons that are really UNREASONABLE.

 

Man, Pac is looking like **** in all of this.

First, there is no 100% Guarantee that the temporary stadium can be built by the end of may! It would not start until the negotiations ends and that could take a couple of months in itself.

Second, HBO would never sign off on such a risky venture.

Third, if PBF needs any medical treatment he has only a week before he is sent away.

Fourth, 6 months for a cut to heal?! did anyone see Big Bro Klit's face almost get ripped off and him fight within 6 months?

Finally, The fight will make more money being fought on the 5th at the MGM. Mat 5th is the biggest boxing day on the PPV calender. With say JMM v Moralas on the card it set a record that would never be broken. Also, they would generate more revenue at the MGM than a temporary stadium because the could charge 10x the price.

I am fan of Pacs but this whole ordeal makes him look terrible

it was always vegas, Arum threw in the Stadium idea after the fight negotiations had already broken down. Then he set up the Clottey fight which made less money at the box office than PBF fight at the mgm

 

Then you need to watch the fight again and not judge based on watching it in some bar for free.
