It seems Usyk has bulked up for the rematch, will this help him or hurt him in the fight?

Definitely! I'm betting the first fighter who beat Tyson Fury will have done so, in part, because he manages to avoid carrying Gypsy King's weight. But staying out of the clinch is as much a part of tactics and balance as it of speed and the taller man has the advantage. Joshua is not a great clincher, and he certainly hasn't got the balance/speed of Usyk - but he was able to tie up Usyk on occasion.

Still waiting for someone to explain to me how a 209lb Usyk was able to stop a very tough 263lb Eric Brechlin in three rounds in the WSB albeit his corner threw in the towel (after three standing counts) but the 260lb or roughly in that vicinity absolutely murderous punching Makhmudov was taken the five round distance by the same Brechlin. And Brechlin took plenty of big shots and didn't run from him. Brechlin also lasted the distance against Hrgovic in the WSB and AJ in the amateurs

That 209lb Usyk would've beaten AJ. Look at how fast his reaction times are. That fast left hand counter would be punishing AJ everytime he threw the jab and would have him scared to lead and the combos would be landing clean and hurting him

Here's a 213lb Usyk dropping and stopping a 277lb SHW in a couple of rounds who lasted into the 4th against Joe Joyce only losing on a cut

Dont know why usyk would change anything. Joshua will always be the stronger fighter no matter how much bulk you put on yourself. Seems usyk wants to try and catch joshua off guard and fight fire with fire. Could backfire though

Why? He has absolutely no reason to bulk up, no one (except maybe Fury) can beat a trimmer version, why even give a slight opening?

He bulked up 6 weight classes after Shawn Porter schooled him in the amateurs.
