    You and me both. Fiscally they were absolute sound. I looked at last years figures and SF had a very good year. One of their best ever infact. The deal makes no sense to me. Why did Coker want to sell? And how long was he trying to sell SF for? I mean SF has been around since the 80's long before the UFC was even a thought in the Gracies kitchen. Its all a very odd set of circumstances.

    As Ive said over & over this is alot more important than Fighter A v Fighter B. From now on you are only going to see who Zuffa tells you are the best fighting each other. You are not going to be looking at another org and wondering if for example Reem can beat Cain. Your going to be watching who Zuffa deem the best. And ttoo be deemed the best by Zuffa you are going to have to tow the party line because they are no longer any viable alternatives to go and ply your trade. Yes we are probably going to see the types of best of UFC v the best of SF match ups now. But how long will that last, 2 or 3 years? Then it will be MMA as Zuffa deems fit for the duration until by some miracle another org comes out of the woodwork, is able to resist the Zuffa cheque book and keep its best talent, get a TV deal, and manage to scrape out some creditability amongst MMA fans who dont just mindlessly tow the party line of the UFC has ''the best fighting the best''

    Basically Barnett will have to fight for the UFC or go on a Tim Sylvia style freak show tour to earn a living, because Dana isnt gonna give up ANY concessions just to please Josh
    And think about it, they only signed Tito because he's a draw and would be a draw for a rival org like Strikeforce. I love how this is being twisted into how Dana is some sort of benevolent benefactor of MMA and nothing to do with earning dollars

    ANUS has been towing the company line for years. He's not smart enough to understand the implications of this. Any attempt at discussion with him is a thorough waste of time. He's far and away one of the worst posters on this board.
    I know Cooling Sugar and Beebs schill for the UFC but at least their somewhat informed. ANUS simply has no clue whatsoever. Save your breath and just post pictures of clown shoes instead.

    All he has to do is think this through. History repeats itself and go and look at the UFC's history at how they treat their talent BEFORE they had a monopoly. I dont think we are being suicidal doom merchants at all. It's going to get worse for the top level talent not better
    But he can't contemplate that whilst drinking his Bud light and driving his Harley I guess
