The magnitude of this fight don't need six months. It is the most awaited and what all boxing fans wanted all along. Two months is more than enough to sway casual fans especially with the whole steroid mess that just happened plus with an ad on the Superbowl.

 

You are thinking way too much into this. You do not need 6 months to build a fight this caliber.

 

Bull****....this has been building for a while now. The whole "I takes 6 months" bull**** is for those who really NEED the heavy promotion. This fight will sell itself.

 

I think it only takes 3-4 months....

 

this fight dosent need a buildup. oscar and floyd had 6 months- and like 7 tours across the country with press conferences- this dosent need it- and they know it- they were only gonna do one press conference.

this dosent need marketing- its like saying "100 hot victorias secret models eating each other out on PPV- 50 bucks" - you dont need to sell that ****- it sells itself.

I doubt either Top Rank and GBP will be content with that. Why settle for 4 million when you can draw 10 million? (Or at least, I think that's what their attitude is.)
